Rated to an indstry leading IP68, the specially designed camera hosing is machined from solid alminm. The MIC Series 440 camera ensres corrosion protection by sing two different processes; first an Alocrom 1200 coating, then a robst polyester powder paint coating. Alocrom 1200 is a chromate conversion coating of alminm, sed in the aerospace and defense indstries where a protective layer is reqired to improve corrosion resistance. Sealed with 'O'-rings, the MIC Series 440 camera can operate permanently sbmerged p to 1 meter (3.3 feet) nderwater by virte of its design and constrction, sitable for installation in the harshest of environments. The optically-perfect flat viewing window and integrated wiper ensre razor sharp images are captred in even the most demanding conditions. This allows the MIC Series 440 explosionprotected range to fnction perfectly in highly hazardos areas, sch as offshore oil rigs. The se of high-specification motors ensres reliable operation, while grond-breaking resolver technology provides pin-point accracy and affords the ser fll 360 continos rotation pan and 240 tilt control. A choice of tre day/night camera modles, offering p to 36x optical zoom (12x digital), copled with flexible pright or inverted monting capability, allows the perfect field of view to be achieved every time.
