2 AIDA TM mini is a new entry-level solution from KARL STORZ for capturing image and video data in the endoscopy setting. Examinations and minor procedures can be recorded in a cost-effective manner with the help of our new product from the AIDA TM family. Moreover, fast and uncomplicated handling supports the spontaneous recording of studies and presentation data. AIDA TM mini features a compact design that saves space on the equipment cart. 5 Recording Indicator A recording indicator for feedback is displayed briefly in the upper-left corner of the monitor. The indicator consists of a camera icon, the image number, and the free space remaining on the internal hard drive or on an external USB drive. Recording of an image Patient Data The Patient Information button on the front panel enables direct access to the patient information screen. Within this screen the user can enter all relevant information regarding the patient. 5

6 Configuration Menu The configuration menu allows the following adjustments: Setup: Allows setting of the video input type, output resolution, date/time, language, and recording destination. You can also turn on and configure the Patient Information feature which allows you to enter patient information at the start of each imaging session. Image Options: Enables the selection of image formats (e.g., JPG or TIFF) 6

7 Video Options: Allows selection of the recording quality and time limit for recordings. Advanced Options: This menu allows the copying of videos from the internal hard drive to a USB drive. You can also configure a network connection, view all of the current settings, and upgrade the device with the latest firmware. Print Options: With the USB connection on the back plate it s possible to plug in the USB Color Printer which is included in the KARL STORZ portfolio. This creates the opportunity to print all the recorded data directly. 7
