2 PROJECTION MAPPING Technology Projection Mapping is a technology, that uses video projectors to turn any object and surface into a projection area. Instead of a projection as a rigid rectangle, any object or surface can be used as a medium for information, advertising or ambience. As depicted in the left picture, one projector can illuminate surfaces perfectly adjusted to the circumstances. In Use With the EDGE DS, unused or uneconomic surfaces become exciting multimedia installations. Setting up the installation is fast and effective. Any number of screens are created independently of the angle and with a precise edge. Animations, images, logos or videos: add media to playlists and set playback times. Each surface becomes an individual advertising medium. The EDGE DS offers a whole new dimension of presenting digital media concepts. 3

4 Next Level CMS Our web-based multichannel CMS covers your requirements for a versatile and reliable CMS. Create user profiles and handle bookings, orders and the playback time of your media. Set up unlimited surfaces for your content, upload media like videos, PNG files with alpha transparency, pictures and more. Create playlists and assign them to certain EDGE s. Time control, authorisation levels and monitoring of bookings enable a customisable usage. The live camera view of the projection and remote maintenance and monitoring serve as a reliable review tool. 7

5 Projectors for every use case Projectors are available in many different sizes. Depending on the size of the projection and the lighting conditions, the right model can be determined fast and reliably. The scope ranges from small projectors designed for projections of content in semi-bright environments to highly luminous projectors, which produce a sensational experience of projection by delivering high resolution images, even in unfavourable light conditions. In recent years, with the advancement of LED and laser technology, there has been a lot of progress in the field of projector development. The light source s lifetime has risen to 20,000 hours, thus a 24/7-operation is possible nearly maintenance free. Moreover, projectors with vertical (portrait) format expand the area of application. By using wide-angle lenses, mirror lenses and zoom, even surfaces that are difficult to reach can be transformed into informational or advertising space.
