Please contact us. info@haewa.de 1 1 Flexible: The snap-on attachment provided on many housings enables the mounting of the heaters individually inside the cabinet onto the existing DIN rails. 2 Safe: The compact plastic housing ensures direct protection against accidental contact with the heating element. Some units include an integrated thermostat or hygrostat. This means, the future use of the device (heating or dehumidifying) can already be preselected Versatile: The design features of all heaters include internal temperature limitation. The program includes various small accessories such as small thermostat, hygrostat and switch modules to allow adequate execution of each individual application. 4 Approvals: CE, VDE and UL (individually listed for the different versions) 06

7 Heaters Examples of application: The use of cabinet heaters counteracts possible functional malfunctions due to condensation or frost. Integrated fans in the cabinet heaters ensure a better distribution of the warm air. For larger cabinets, an even heat distribution is achieved through several smaller cabinet heaters. 07

9 Heaters Product Description Cabinet heaters are used for warming up the air inside a control cabinet. Low ambient temperatures and high humidity can cause condensation, which can endanger the functional safety of electric and electronic components. häwa offers a whole range of cabinet heaters from 10 to 1200 W to keep the cabinet temperature at the desired level. häwa solutions also include monitoring equipment e.g. to maintain minimum temperatures and for freeze protection. 15 Filter Fans Product Description Filtering principle: suction When used without an exhaust filter, the ambient air is drawn in from the outside, filtered and then blown into the interior of the cabinet. Thus, a static overpressure of about 30 to 325 Pascal develops inside the closed cabinet, which means that dust particles cannot leak into the inside of the cabinet. Filtering principle: suction and discharge If an exhaust filter is installed in the upper part of the cabinet in addition to the filter fan, forced air valveation is obtained. The ambient air is drawn in at the lower part of the cabinet, filtered and blown into the interior of the cabinet. The through-flowing air takes up the heat generated by the cabinet's components and discharges it through the exhaust filter in the upper cabinet part. Air-to-water heat exchangers are particularly suitable for use at high ambient temperatures. The air-to-water heat exchanger consists mainly of a housing, the heat exchanger core (tube bundle with fins), a fan and connection lines. The fan draws the hot air from the cabinet into the housing of the heat exchanger, where the air is cooled down via the core (using water as coolant) and blown back into the cabinet. 41 Air Conditioners Product Description häwa air conditioners for control cabinets can be used as independent devices up to an ambient temperature of max. 50/55 C (122/131 F). They have two separate IP54-sealed air circuits, equipped with 1 fan each. Cooling or heat transfer from the inside of the cabinet to the outside takes place through active cooling (refrigerating unit). This allows to cool down the temperature in the cabinet below ambient temperature. haewa air conditioners operate with the CFC-free, ozone-friendly refrigerant R134a. With or without filter For external or external/internal mounting or roof-mounting The factory-set temperature inside the cabinet of +35 C (95 F) can be field-adjusted after removal of the cover panel or, for devices equipped with a display, from outside.
