Description The WinTV DVB-s product is designed for receiving, decoding and displaying Digital Satellite Broadcasts on a standard Personal Computer. Used with a MODEM, it can facilitate connection to a satellite ISP (Internet Service Provider) to achieve high speed downloading. The WinTV DVB-s product can receive Free-to-Air channels without the need for any specialised additional equipment (see compatibility below). However, to receive 'subscriber' or 'pay per view' channels, an optional module (Common Interface Module) will be required, together with a decryption card, available, for a fee, from the provider of these channels. Minimum System Requirements To use the WinTV DVB-s card, you will need the following: PC with Pentium Processor, (Pentium 166 or higher recommended) Free bus-master PCI Socket 32 MB RAM minimum PCI or AGP Graphic card, running at a minimum resolution of 800 x 600 Pixel, in either 'High Colour' (16 Bit) or 'True Colour' (24 or 32 Bit) Active speaker or soundcard/speaker combination CD-ROM Drive (only required for software installation) Microsoft Windows 95 or 98 DirectX 5 or higher Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 In addition, you need a connection to a digital ('combo' or 'high-band') satellite system. If this system incorporates a switch box, this switch box needs to be DiSEqC (Digital Satellite Equipment Control) compatible. The physical connection on the WinTV DVB-s card is a single F-Connector. 7

Preparing the computer Before working on the hardware of the computer, switch off the computer but leave it plugged in. You should first discharge any body static. To do this, you can touch a grounded part of the computer chassis such as the metal surface of the power supply. The manufacturer disclaims any warranty for damages caused by direct or indirect installation of a component by an unqualified person. Please consult a computer specialist, if you are unable to install the card yourself. Switching on the computer during installation can be dangerous and cause damage to the WinTV DVB-s card and your health. 8

Installation of the WinTV DVB-s card Driver Software At the time of writing, the WinTV DVB-s card is only designed for use under Windows 95 and Windows 98. The general steps for this process are given below. On the next pages, the various on-screen steps are shown visually for Windows 98. Windows 95 will differ from this procedure slightly. 1. Make sure that the WinTV DVB-s card is physically installed (as above). 2. Start the computer. 3. Windows will automatically detect the presence of the WinTV DVB-s PCI card and request that a driver is installed for it. 4. Put in the WinTV DVB-s card CD-ROM in your CD-ROM drive and select the following location from which to obtain the driver: x:\driver\7146 (where x is the driver letter of the CD-ROM drive). You will notice that this location contains the file called ttdvb.inf, which is correct. 5. Follow the on-screen instructions until you arrive at the Windows desktop. It may be necessary to have the Windows 95 or Windows 98 CD-ROM, in case this is requested for by Windows. 6. Re-start the computer. 11

Example of Driver software installation in Windows 98 1: Windows detects card - click on Next 2: Search for best driver - click on Next 12

3: Specify the location (see text) - click on Next 4: Windows finds the driver - click on Next 13

5: Installation completed - click on Finish 6: Manually re-start your computer 14

Installation of the WinTV DVB-s Application Software 1. Make sure that the DVBsat PCI card and driver are installed (as above). 2. Make sure that DirectX 5 or higher is installed on your computer. 3. Make sure that Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 or above is installed. 4. Put in the WinTV DVB-s PCI CD-ROM in your CD-ROM drive. 5. Go to Start, then Run, then enter x:\setup.exe and click on OK (where x is the drive letter of the CD-ROM drive). 6. Follow the on-screen instructions produced by the installation pro gram. On completion of this procedure, a window will be displayed, showing the programs that have been added to the start-menu list. See picture below. This window can now be closed. 7. You will now be asked to begin with the installation of the NDIS MAC driver. See the following section. 15

IInstallation of the WinTV DVB-s card NDIS MAC Driver The NDIS MAC driver is required for the reception of DVB signals. At the installation of the NDIS-MAC driver you will be supported by our online 'Network Setup & Configuration Tool' (see picture on following page), which contains all the instructions you will need to navigate the Windows Network Properties dialogue boxes, at this stage. This process is similar to the installation of a standard network card and a summary of the steps is described below. 1. Add a network card in the network dialog of the windows system control. Select the file driver/ndis as the source for the card driver (the driver file is called ttnetdvb.inf). Windows will now see the card as a WinTV DVB-s PCI Network adapter. 2. Install and bind the TCP/IP protocol to the WinTV DVB-s PCI network adapter. 3. Set the IP-address and the subnet mask. The card will need any 'class-c' IP-address and subnet mask. An example 'class-c' IP-address and sub net mask, which you can use, are as the IP-address, and as the subnet mask. 16

Operation of the WinTV DVB-s Applications After installing the WinTV DVB-s PCI card and software you can select various applications from the Windows Start-menu. The WinTV DVB-s applications offer the following functionality: DVB TV & Radio Enables the reception and playback of DVB TV and Radio programs. DVB Teletext Is a simple videotext-browser. DVB Teletext can only used after the DVB TV & Radio has been started. DVB Network Setup Help Gives support for subsequent installation and configuration of the DVBsat PCI network driver. DVB Data services Allows you to receive IP based DVB data broadcast. You can create profiles for the reception of different data services. 18

When launching any DVB application, another application called the WinTV DVB-s PCI DVB Server is launched automatically. This application controls the background operation of the WinTV DVB-s card. When the WinTV DVB-s PCI DVB Server starts, you can access it from the Windows task-bar by double clicking on the DVB symbol in the sys-tray. 19

DVB TV & Radio Application Overview of application window With the DVB TV & Radio application you can experience a variety of the digital television and radio programs. The program list, which is alphabetically sorted by provider, you change the programs by clicking on them. The TV image size is scalable by changing the size of the application window. There are also 2 full-screen modes, which display the TV image without toolbars, in either 640 x 480 or 800 x 600 resolution. In this case you can change the channel and control volume by the keyboard. The application window consists of several groups of controls. These are the main menu, the program list and 'program info', and the audio and video controls. After acquiring programs, a list of them is created and saved to the hard disk. This allows for the possibility of working with different program listings (e.g. separated by TV and radio). 21

In nearly all control groups (including pop-up dialog windows), tool-tips are provided for additional information. Toot-tips are small boxes containing text, which appear automatically when you hold the mouse over an available control. For these to work, the application must be the foreground most application. Clicking on the Title bar or control groups will ensure that this is the case. Show/Hide a Control Group In the top-left corner of a group of controls, there is a small button with a down arrowhead. Clicking on these buttons opens and hides the control groups. When a group of controls is hidden (by clicking on the down arrowhead), the button's arrowhead points to the right. Clicking on this button again will re-show the control group. Menu Options This group of controls called Menu includes five symbols. Clicking on a symbol may create a dialogue window, in which you will be asked to follow certain procedures. For a list of the symbols and their related functions in this group, see below. Shows the Program List Menu Creates dialogue window for Transponder Scan Creates dialogue window for LNB/Satellite Settings Creates dialogue box for Recording and Playback Allows the application to be in either English or German 22

Program List Menu WinTV DVB-s Installation and Reference Manual This is a drop-down menu containing the options described below. New Program List Open Program List Save Program List Creates a new blank program list Opens an existing program list and thus creates a dialogue windows for an existing program list file to be selected. A file name will always be asked for. 1..., 2..., 3... Info A list of most recently saved program lists. Allows a list to be selected in a single step. Opens a window containing copyright and version information Exit Closes the DVB TV & Radio application. If you have changed the program list but have not yet saved, you will automatically be asked if you want to do it. The next time that the DVB TV & Radio application is started, the last program list and last program that was being used will automatically be opened. 23

Dialogue window: Transponder Scan Example This dialogue window for searching the transponder allows you to search for new DVB programs and to update the program list. The control settings in this window are described below. 24

Transponder Tools WinTV DVB-s Installation and Reference Manual LNB/Satellite H / V Symbol rate Frequency This will display the current satellite that you have selected (Astra, Hotbird). Set the polarisation plane here (horizontal or vertical). Select or input the symbol rate that the WinTV DVB-s card needs to receive data from the transponder. Sets the frequency of the transponder. It is the setting of the transponder frequency, which determines the pro gram or group of programs that will be received. <-? /?-> Searches of the preceding or next transponder on the basis of the up-to-date stopped frequency. The search takes place on the selected satellite with the adjusted polarisation and symbol rate. AutoScan Signal Carrier Viterbi FSync Level Quality A dialog window for automatic search opens and scans over the whole frequency range. Shows when there is a DVB signal possible. Shows when a carrier signal is detected. Shows when the Viterbi decoder is locked. Shows when the DVB frame synchronisation was detected. Shows the estimated signal-to-noise ratio, in db. Shows the bit error rate in four steps (better than 10-1, or 10-4). A DVB transponder is considered as detected, if the indication areas: Signal, Carrier, Viterbi and FSync, are set. 25

Program List Tools WinTV DVB-s Installation and Reference Manual List Listing of the current programs. Already available programs are in blue, re-detected or updated programs are in green. Individual or several programs can be marked in one go. The program marked last is shown visually in the small TV window on the right of the list of programs. OK Cancel Accepts the changes and closes the dialogue window. Cancels the changes and closes the dialogue window. 26

Automatic Transponder Scan The dialog window Automatic Transponder Scan serves for the automatic search of DVB providers over the entire frequency range on a satellite position. At present, the automatic search scans signals from MCPC transponders on Eutelsat Hotbird - 13 East with 27,5 MSym/s and on the Astra Satellite - 19 east with 27,5 or 22 MSym/s. The dialog window for automatically scanning transponders will appear when clicking on the button AutoScan. The functions of this dialogue window are described below. LNB/Satellite H / V Astra Scan Hotbird Scan Cancel Selects the LNB or the satellite to update DVB providers' details. Selects which polarisation planes are to looked up (horizontal and/or vertical). Scans with frequencies to 12.5 GHz, transponders with a symbol rate of 27,5 MSym/s. With frequencies over 12,5 GHz, scans transponders with a symbol rate of 22 MSym/s. This is usually the present configuration of the branch r. satellites on 19 east. Scans all transponders with a symbol rate of 27,5 MSym/s. This is usually the present configuration of Eutelsat Hotbird on 13 east. Closes the dialogue window 27

Dialogue window: LNB/Satellite Settings With the dialog window LNB/Satellite Settings, you can adjust the configuration of your satellite reception system. The adjustable settings that this dialog window contains, and the displays produced, follow. 28

LNB/ Satellite List This is the list that contains the symbolic names of the LNBs or satellite positions. Non-standard characteristics are assigned to each entry. If you select an entry in the list, these characteristics are displayed in the appropriate dialog fields and can be modified. Remove Removes the selected LNB from the list. New Save Produces a new LNB/Satellite. Then you can input the symbolic name and type. Assigns the current characteristics to the selected LNB. LOF Local Oscillator Frequency(ies). The local oscillator frequency of the transponder frequencies of usual television satellites is usually within the range of 10GHz or higher. During the transfer of such high frequencies, the absorption losses are excessive in the coax cable and at the antenna in the LNB (Low Noise block, sometimes also called LNC - Low Noise converter). Therefore, a conversion to a lower frequency range is necessary. Sat ZF (950 to 2150MHz). This is also the incoming frequency range of digital satellite receiver (like the WinTV DVB-s card). The LOF indicates the amount of the incoming frequency that is transferred. The WinTV DVB-s card needs this value, in order to be able to show you with the browsing the actual incoming frequencies. The LOF is imprinted on the LNB. Digital suited universal LNBs have 2 LOF, one for the Low band (also 11GHz- Band) and one for the High band (also 12GHz-Band). Switching between the two LOFs, in this case, takes place by means of a 22kHz-Signal. If you modify the LOF values, the bordering or switch frequencies indicated by search area also changes. LOF 1 LOF 1 (for Low-Band with Universal-LNB) 29

LOF 2 LOF higher From LOF 2 (for High-Band with Universal-LNB) This indicates whether the LOF is situated above the incoming frequency area. This is usual with c-band LNBs. The Sat ZF calculates the LOF minus the incoming frequency. This is the lower limit of the received frequency area and results from the LOF setting. If you know that the satellite concerned transmits DVB programs from a higher frequency, then you can increase this value, to increase the browsing speed. To This is the lower limit of the received frequency area and results from the LOF setting. If you know that the satellite concerned transmits DVB programs on a lower frequency, then you can decrease this value, to increase the browsing speed. Switch Indicates, for universal LNBs, the changeover frequency between the Low and High band (by means of 22kHz-Signal). Power Indicates whether the LNB is to be supplied with current. This should be always activated. 22 khz Indicates whether the 22kHz-Signal is to be transmitted to the LNB. With universal LNBs, this occurs automatically, as a function of the selected frequency. DiSEqC The DiSEqC adjustments (digital Satellite equipment control) are of importance if you attach the WinTV DVB-s card to a satellite system, where the reception is on several orbital positions, and where unification of the individual antenna signals is made by DiSEqC Switch box or DiSEqC Multi-changer. None Select this option, if the WinTV DVB-s card is attached directly to an individual antenna, where only one orbital position is to be received. 30

Mini-DiSEqC Select this option if the WinTV DVB-s card is connected to a shift box with "Tone Burst" control (also called as "Mini- DiSEqC" or "Simple DiSEqC"). You have the option to select between two antenna signals (orbital positions). DiSEqC Level 1.0 Select this option if the WinTV DVB-s card is connected to a shift box or multi-toggle with DiSEqC-control. You can select between four options. The specific settings can be found from the documentation of the DiSEqC shift box or DiSEqC multi-toggle, respectively. Dialog window: Record/Playback This dialogue window allows you to record and playback TV programs onto and from your hard drive. These can be in the form of Audio, Video or both Audio and Video together. 31

To select a file name and location and video format prior to recording. To select a file name and location from which to play. Closes the file, which is currently open. Closes this dialogue window. File State Displays the name and location of the file, which is currently open. Displays the current status (recording / playback / stop...). Bit-Rate Displays the data-rate during the recording process. Format Displays the format of the currently opened file. The current position of the file is displayed in relation to the entire file length during playback. By shifting the control knob you can change the current position by hand. Play-Time Total-Time Displays the time that the current file has been played for. Displays the total time that the current file lasts for. Record button. This button starts the recording process but will only operate after a file name, location and format has been selected. Stop button. Stops the current recording or playback. 32

Playback button. This button plays back the currently open file. Pause button. Halts the currently played file. Repeatedly pressing this key shifts the video on by one frame at a time. Double-speed playback (only for video or audio MP2). The file is played at double the normal rate. Half-speed playback (only for video or audio MP2). The file is played at half the normal rate. Tips on Capturing: Note that the video and audio streams are stored in MPEG-2 format on your hard drive. The recording process will require a transfer rate of up to several MBit/s. For example, you may need 30 MBytes free for the recording of a video stream of 4 MBit/s, for approximately one minute. Extrapolating this figure means that you will need 1.8GB for 1 hour of video. A recently de-fragmented hard drive is recommended for capturing longer sequences of video. The capturing performance may be improved by changing a Windows setting called 'Read-ahead optimisation' to 'None'. This setting can be found under Control Panel / System / Performance / File System. It is also recommended to close down any other applications before you start capturing. 33

Audio Settings WinTV DVB-s Installation and Reference Manual This group of controls includes two slider-bars for adjusting the volume and balance, and a text box that indicates the language of the audio channel of the current program. When there is no 'speech-information' from the sender, this box will contain the message "no-info". If there are several audio channels being broadcast within the program, you can change between these audio channels with the arrow keys. Program List 34

The program list consists of an array of single programs and two series of buttons to determine the criteria of the displayed list. Double-clicking on a program name will select it in the application. The keys: TV, Radio and Data determine the type of programs displayed. With the keys A-F, G-M, etc. you can limit the number of displayed programs, which begin and end with the relevant letters. When you activate the key All, all the programs (ordered by provider) will be displayed. The name of the current program is shown highlighted in the top-right of this group. Program Info In this group, the start-time, title, and a brief description of the current and next broadcast is displayed. This will only be displayed, when the sender provides the information. Video Settings This group of controls consists of 3 slider bars to adjust the brightness, contrast and saturation, and 3 buttons for selecting the desired view mode. 35

This button centres the video picture within the program window of a size proportional to the application window size and maintaining an aspect ratio of 4:3. The maximum video picture size is approximately 768 x 572 pixels. The remaining area of the application window, which is not taken up by the video window or control groups, is left black. Normal operation is resumed by double-clicking with the left mouse button on any place in the video picture. This button removes all application windows from the display, thus leaving a black background on which the video picture is displayed. As with the previous button, the video picture is centred within the monitor and its maximum size is approximately 768 x 572 pixels. The higher the desktop resolution, the greater will be the black boarder around the ideo picture. Normal operation is resumed by either doubleclicking with the left mouse button on any place in the video picture or by clicking the right mouse button and addressing the context menu. This button reduces the windows desktop resolution to 800x600 and, as with the previous button, removes all application windows from the display, thus leaving a black background on which the video picture is displayed. Again, the video picture will have a maximum size of approximately 768 x 572 pixels. However, the size of the normal desktop resolution will now have no effect on the size of the black border surrounding the video picture. Tip: In this mode, a narrow black border is still present. However, if you do not use the 800 x 600 resolution in Windows, you can adjust the monitor's settings such that the picture really does fill the entire monitor. Most monitors will remember this setting as separate from other resolution settings and thus the adjustments made in this 800 x 600 mode will have no effect on the resolution that you run Windows in. Normal operation is resumed by either double-clicking with the left mouse button on any place in the video picture or by clicking the right mouse button and addressing the context menu. 36

View modes WinTV DVB-s Installation and Reference Manual The picture above represents the greatest resolution at which the TV Window can be set (maximum size is approximately 768 x 572 pixels at the aspect ration of 4:3). In the normal operating mode you can change to a 'no control groups' display mode by double clicking the left mouse button on the TV picture. Double clicking the left mouse button on the picture again (this time in the 'no control groups' display mode) the normal operating mode is restored. Also in the normal operating mode, you can change to the last selected full screen mode by double clicking the right mouse button on the TV image. In the full screen modes you can change the program and volume with the arrow keys on the keyboard. Up and Down arrows change the program and Left and Right arrows change the volume. Clicking the right hand button on the TV picture brings up a menu allowing you to return to the normal oper- 37

DVB Data services With the WinTV DVB-s Data Application you can use any IP-based DVB data services. These may include Web/News-Broadcast Services (Web- Casting), Multicast-Streaming Services or File Transfer Services. Data broadcasts being received by the WinTV DVB-s card will be treated in the same manner as if received by a network card. This is why the reception of arbitrary IP-based DVB data services is possible, as is integration with the Windows network architecture, and thus, compatibility to other Internet applications. 41

Because the WinTV DVB-s card doesn't send data out onto a 'normal' network but by means of DVB data broadcasting, some specific additional parameters need to be set. The WinTV DVB-s Data Application allows the administration of these many potential services and the setting of any necessary related parameters. Like our other applications, to make the WinTV DVB-s Data Application easier to understand, most user adjustable settings incorporate tool-tips, which appear after the mouse pointer stays over them for approximately one second. In order to use the WinTV DVB-s card as a network card, the front-end settings and filter must be configured. Under the front-end settings is the input section of the WinTV DVB-s card: consisting of tuner, demodulator, LNB voltage supply control and DiSEqC Signal level. Services A Service is, in the context of the WinTV DVB-s card, a data application (and a set of any necessary parameters to receive a DVB data service). With the selection of a service, all adjustments are made in such a way that the appropriate DVB data service can be used. The parameters needed for the use of a DVB data service (frequency, symbol rate, polarisation, PID, IP or MAC address) should be given to you by the provider of the service. 42

Selecting a Service WinTV DVB-s Installation and Reference Manual The selection of a service is achieved simply by opening the 'Service selection' list field and clicking on an entry. The last service selected is remembered when running this program again. The three buttons: New, Change and Remove provide the administration of the services. Adding a Service A new data service can be added by clicking on the New button. In the 'Name of data service:' box you can type the name for the new service. The parameters of this new data service will be taken from the parameters of an existing service of your choice. Once having added a new data service, the parameter can then be modified and set with the Set button. 43

Changing a Service Name Clicking on the Change button opens the dialogue box called: 'Change data service'. This allows you to change the name given to an existing service. Clicking on OK sets the new name and deletes the old name. Clicking on Cancel discards this change. Removing a Service Clicking on the Remove button deletes the current service from the 'Service selection' list with all its associated parameters. Tuner state/tuner settings The State / Tuner tab shows different parameters for reception. Details of each of these are given in the two tables below: 44

Tuner State WinTV DVB-s Installation and Reference Manual Synchronisation Signal quality Signal level Acoustic signalisation The box displayed green if a DVB signal is found This displays the quality of the received signal. A value of 100 % shows a faultless reception. (Bit fault rate better than 10-4 ) The level of the received signal as a percentage. With the aid of this value, the alignment of the satellite dish can be more easily optimised. The acoustic signalisation option gives a verbal output of the signal level through the sound card. This option is present to further aid the alignment of the satellite dish. Tuner Settings Frequency This allows you to set the transponder frequency. This transponder frequency can either be entered manually or changed, step by step, with the arrow keys. Symbol rate This allows you to set the symbol rate that is being broadcast. The provider of the service should give the symbol rate. H / V This option allows you to specify the polarisation of the broadcast. QAM This setting is only applicable to DVB-c (cable) cards and is given by the cable operator. 45

DiSEqC/LNB Settings WinTV DVB-s Installation and Reference Manual Adjustments made in the DiSEqC / LNB tab are for matching the settings of the WinTV DVB-s card to your satellite system. Modifications should only be necessary after initially setting up the card. DiseqC Settings The DiSEqC (digital Satellite equipment control) adjustments are of importance if you attach the WinTV DVB-s card to a satellite system, where the signal is expected on several orbital positions and where unification of the individual antenna signals is made by a DiSEqC switch box or DiSEqC multi-changer. None Select this option if the WinTV DVB-s card is connected directly to the LNB of single satellite dish. This will only receive one orbital position. Simple (tone burst) Select this option if the WinTV DVB-s card is connected to a shift box with "Tone Burst" control (also called as "Mini- DiSEqC" or "Simple DiSEqC"). You have the option to select between two antenna signals (orbital positions). 46

Level 1.0 Select this option if the WinTV DVB-s card is connected to a shift box or multi-toggle with DiSEqC-control. You can select between four options. The specific settings can be found from the documentation of the DiSEqC shift box or DiSEqC multi-toggle, respectively. LNB Settings The transponder frequency of usual television satellites is usually within the range of 10GHz or higher. LOF 1 Local Oscillator Frequency. This indicates what amount of the incoming frequency is transferred. The WinTV DVB-s card needs this value, in order to be able to process the actual incoming frequencies. The LOF is imprinted on the LNB. Digital suited universal LNBs have 2 LOF, one for the Low band (also 11GHz-Band) and one for the High band (also 12GHz-Band). Switching between the two LOF takes place by means of a 22kHz-Signal. LOF 1 is the local oscillator frequency for the Low band. LOF 2 LOF 2 is the local oscillator frequency for the High band. See also LOF 1. Switch Indicates, for universal LNBs, the frequency between Low and High band change over (by means of 22kHz- Signal). LNB power This indicates whether the LNB is to be supplied with current. Should be always activated. 47

Filter Settings WinTV DVB-s Installation and Reference Manual The filter tab serves for configuring the filters and for displaying the filter parameters. Administering the filters is possible by means of clicking on the buttons: Add, Edit and Del. The modification of Multicast PID only becomes effective after clicking on Set. PID (Packet-Identifier) The PID separates, from the multiplicity of the DVB signal, an individual packet stream. This allows the reception of the desired radiated DVB data service from the service provider. def. Multicast PID If a provider transfers a multicast of DVB data services with the same PID, the value should be entered here. Otherwise the input field should remain empty. Set This displays whether a filter is set (in use). UC = Unicast filters; BC = Broadcast filters; MC = Multicast filters. The filter can be only set by the WinTV DVB-s data application, if the use is per mitted (shown in the field: use) and a valid PID (field PID) was entered. 48

MAC (Media Access Control) The MAC address is a means continuing the differentiation of the package stream selected on the basis the PID. Thus, the only packet with the correct address reaches the Windows network layers. With multicast DVB data services the MAC address can be calculated from the IP address. In this case, the input of the IP address is sufficient. IP (Internet Protocol) The IP address is for setting the allocation of filters to Client applications and the address input with multicast filters. Length Number of bytes in the MAC address to be entered into the filter (normally 6, with 0 only on the PID to be filtered). View This displays whether a filter is to be used. Filter Settings - dialogue window The dialog box Filter Settings, opens by clicking on Add or Edit, or by double clicking on a free place in the filter list. In a new filter the input fields contain default values. Modify the desired parameters and click on OK to add this filter to the filter list. 49

Filter Adjustments - dialogue window Modification of an existing Filter setting can be achieved by either clicking on Edit or double clicking on the PID of the filter in the filter list. The filter settings box is generated whereby the parameters can then be modified. Click on OK to set these modifications or Cancel to reject the changes. 50

Statistics The Statistics tab displays the throughput of the set filters, in kbit/s. 51
