2 Details The TELESEND DRAMA is a broadcast quality, zero delay HD transmitter and LCD receiver that sends HDMI and HDSDI signals with embedded audio over distances of up to 500m. Up to 4 receivers can be used at the same time. Both the stand alone and LCD receivers can be used for the media village or for live OB links, whilst the LCD receiver is primarily for the director. Each kit comes with a choice of battery adapters and the LCD receiver comes with a carry case. The transmitter can be mounted on top of the camera using a hot shoe mount, and can be powered either from the D-Tap out on the camera or via a mini DV battery. The power cables and battery adapter are included in the kit. The receiver can be mounted on a stand or simply rest on a table, and can be powered all day from a single broadcast battery, or via the mains. The V-Lock adapter and mains PSU are included in the kit. The transmitter has a BNC input for the HDSDI signal, and also a HDMI socket for the HDMI. On the receiver is a BNC for the HDSDI output and a HDMI socket for the HDMI, so that it can easily be connected directly to larger monitors at the media village. Stereo audio is via the embedded audio through the HDSDI or HDMI video signals. Each transmitter and receiver can only be used as a pair. When powered up, they take 5-10 secs to tune with a choice of channels. Four pairs can be used in the same area at any one time, depending on how close they are to each other.
