2017 Kymeta Corporation JUNE 2017
Kymeta delivers on what connectivity is meant to be secure, available, universal, and global. We are removing barriers by providing an innovative means of leveraging satellite network capacity for high bandwidth communication access while on the move. The company s first product, a softwareenabled metamaterials-based electronic beamforming antenna for satellite communications, will keep boats, planes, cars, and more connected.
K Y M E TA VA L U E P R O P O S I T I O N B R A N D Kymeta makes connectivity as available as a view of the sky. We get it, antennas aren t as cool as rockets launching satellites into space. Antennas are, however, the missing link to connecting billions of people to high speed access. Tapping into the world s greatest communication resource, satellite spectrum, will make connecting the imminent 30 billion+ wireless devices a breeze. The world s only commercially viable electronically scanning satellite antennas and terminals from Kymeta will make it possible. Without Kymeta mtenna technology, connecting and staying connected to all those new satellites while on the move will be difficult, if not impossible. Kymeta antennas and terminals deliver high-throughput communications for land, sea and air, making mobile connectivity as available as a view of the sky. Plus, the world s largest satellite operator, Intelsat, has joined forces with Kymeta to deliver KĀLO global access services, that when combined with Kymeta antennas and terminals provides revolutionary mobile connectivity. If it moves, Kymeta will keep it connected. Anywhere. S TA N D A R D S
THE KYMETA BRAND VOICE ADVENTUROUS SMART Kymeta is most comfortable tackling difficult challenges. Breaking the code on global, mobile connectivity will allow our pioneering customers to go places they have never gone before. Kymeta uses science, physics and engineering to innovate. With terrestrial spectrum becoming more crowded and more expensive, satellite can address the insatiable appetite for being always connected anywhere. Kymeta s revolutionary mtenna technology and KĀLO access represent the brilliant reality of what mobile access should be KYMETA BRAND VOICE GAME-CHANGING UNPARALLELED New things become possible with Kymeta. Our revolutionary mtenna technology and KĀLO connectivity services will enable and enhance connectivity across industries and around the globe. The right technology. The perfect application. The best connectivity. Simple, easy-to-understand services. Kymeta is the premier provider of mobile access for land, sea, and air.
THE KYMETA MARK KYMETA LOGOTYPE The salient form within the Kymeta TM logotype is a cross-bar; it accentuates the innovative flat panel design of our core technology. Always use TM symbol as shown. Kymeta is a trademark of Kymeta Corporation. First use in documents must show the trademark. That first use can be a notice in the front matter of a document. LOGOTYPE WITH TAGLINE The Kymeta tagline reduces our mission to the most basic attributes to which we aspire.
THE KYMETA MARK BREATHING ROOM: LOGOTYPE When using the Kymeta logo, make sure there is space around it. Use the letter height as a unit of measure, then allow for at least 100% of that to suffice as a spacing standard. BREATHING ROOM: TAGLINE Please use the provided logotype and tagline lock-up graphic. The tagline is spaced away from the logotype based on its on X-height. The guideline of leaving the height of the logotype remains in place.
COLOR APPLICATIONS FULL COLOR LOGO REVERSED LOGO GRAYSCALE LOGO The full color logo is preferred, but there are white/reversed and grayscale options available for use as well. The logo may be used on a black or Dark Blue background. All type reverts to white but cross bar element remains PMS 542. Please use a cold black when possible (preferred CMYK build: C100, M25, Y20, K100. If the logo is being printed with only black ink, the cross bar element must be 50% black.
PRODUCT LOGOS - mtenna Correct use of mtenna TM The mtenna Technology trademark has two versions, horizontal and stacked. The same spacing and color guidelines for the primary Kymeta logo are enforced. mtenna is a trademark of Kymeta Corporation. First use in documents must show the trademark. That first use can be a notice in the front matter of a document. Please use TM symbol as shown. When writing the word mtenna, use a lower case m followed by a capital T, followed by all lower case letters. Unacceptable forms are: MTenna, Mtenna and MTENNA when written. PMS 424C or 50% black
PRODUCT LOGOS - mtenna u7 mtenna u7 usage The scientific notation device is used to differentiate antenna types. The U denotes Ku-Band and 7 refers to 70 cm which is the size of the antenna. As antennas are developed, there will be mtenna u4, mtenna u2, etc. As Ka-band antennas are developed the first letter will change to a as in mtenna a7.
PRODUCT LOGOS - KĀLO Correct use of KĀLO TM The same spacing and color guidelines for the primary Kymeta logo are enforced with the KĀLO mark. KĀLO is a trademark of Kymeta Corporation. First use in documents must show the trademark. That first use can be a notice in the front matter of a document. Please use TM symbol as shown. When writing the word KĀLO, use all upper case letters. Unacceptable forms are Kalo and kalo. Additionally, the macron symbol over the Ā must be used when writing. In some instances, using a Maori keyboard swtup will allow this symbol to be typed.
CO-BRANDING Partner Co-branding Kymeta is proud to partner with many industry-leading companies. In demonstrating these relationships visually under the Kymeta mark, it is important to allow space to keep each entity distinctly separate. Simple spacing guidelines make this easy to achieve.

TONED IMAGES Color toning add a sense sophistication to images used on the website and in other materials. Often used as a transitional effect, these images usually give way to the full color image on rollover. This effect is achieved simply through a non-destructive Hue/Saturation adjustment layer applied above the image layer in Photoshop. The settings appear below.
ACTION ICONS These are typically used on the website and in other digital applications to communicate further action and interactivity. Other simple icons may be developed using the same line weight and simple graphic style.

DEFINITIONS ABOUT METAMATERIALS SIMPLE: Kymeta s metamaterials allow the mtenna to automatically generate a holographic beam and acquire a satellite signal from anywhere you can see the sky. MEDIUM: Kymeta s metamaterials are specially developed materials that are used to send and receive satellite signals. They allow our mtenna technology to automatically generate a holographic beam and acquire a satellite signal from anywhere you can see the sky. DETAILED: Kymeta s metamaterials are specially developed materials that are used to send and receive satellite signals. They are precisely engineered on a glass structure at the microscopic scale. Software activates the metamaterials to create a beam, allowing the mtenna to acquire a satellite signal from anywhere you can see the sky. The mtenna u7 has 30,000 individual elements that act as pixels, which can point the antenna in different directions by simply changing their pattern, requiring no moving parts.
