Aggregate capacity up to 600 Mbps is achieved through the use of 256QAM and 80 MHz 2x2 MIMO channels. Each radio can operate in Point-to-Point (PtP) or Point-to-MulitPoint (PtmP) mode, and three form factors are available to support omni, sector, integral panel, and dish antennas. Other key features include PoE on either of the 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports, hardware based AES128 Encryption, and high transmit power/receive sensitivity. The flexibility of the Altum AC allows it to be used in many wireless applications, including WISP, Security/Video Surveillance, Enterprise, and more. US models operate in the new GHz band and the GHz band. The International models operate in GHz, GHz, GHz and GHz bands. All Altum AC radios have an integral 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi MIMO radio for Hotspot applications.
