4 Information on the Current and History 1.4 Known Issues Known Issues as of Software 6.1: 6.1 Issue XAVC When playing out H.264, the async option in the Configuration Tool must be disabled first. XAVC projects generated with Software 6.0 may not be played out properly with 6.1. Missing some OpenEXR Compression Types Decoding issues when working with OpenEXR files with some compression types. Watermarking Rendering must be manually stopped when attempting to watermark a clip with an existing NexGuard watermark. When adding a forensic watermark to a clip that already contains an embedded watermark, the detection of that watermark will only occur after 3 minutes of material has been rendered. If an existing watermark has been detected, the progress of the finalize job will pause and the finalize job must be manually stopped by the user. It is recommended to delete the resulting file. NexGuard License NexGuard license will be deleted by the installer if the license is located in the install directory. SMPTE Phase 1 DCP Delivery New certificates have been issued with extended validity to Some legacy DCI Players experience issues with any KDMs created from certificates that are valid beyond 2038 due to a Linux bug. This issue can be solved by updating the DCI server, or by obtaining a new certificate with a shorter validity window, expiring on These certificates will still allow you to work with existing KDM's and DCP's created with the previous ones. Color Format Color checks issuing a warning when an inconsistent configuration concerning source, output, working and eventually subtitle color space has been set, are only performed when configuring the output. This means that e.g. changing the working color space after having configured the output may result in such an overall inconsistency leading to playout not being possible. The corresponding warning will be issued when re-opening the output configuration dialog. HDR color volume conversions which require floating point processing are not supported. 6.1 will notify the user of the problematic conversion, for example in the timeline settings. This also affects subtitle/burnin color volume conversions. Miscellaneous Overlay in stereo dual stream playout is not fully supported yet. SDI downconvert not available yet. Support for BCP Level 6 not available yet. AES audio input issues when switching back to embedded input. The system has to be rebooted to restore normal state.
