Name of the Database or Scholarly Project Used. Or for a professional or personal site with no title use a description such as Home Page 7. Name of the editor (if not cited earlier) if the scholarly project or database, preceded by the appropriate abbreviation, such as Ed. 8. Version number of the source or, for a journal, the volume number, issue number, or other identifying number 9. Date of electronic publication, where available 10. References in the text must clearly point to specific sources in the lists of works cited. Put just the author s last name unless more than one book by that author is used. Same last names of authors need a first initial. Books identified by title have the titles shortened but still underlined. Articles have the author s

6 last name. If there is no name, articles or Website titles are shortened but still put in quotes. Then put the publication year/date of access. Identify the location of the borrowed information as specifically as possible For print sources- give the page number unless you are citing the complete work or it is an article in a work arranged alphabetically like an encyclopedia. Sources from the web that do not have pagination must omit numbers from parenthetical references- if paragraphs are numbered use par. or pars. as an abbreviation..
