1 Vladimir Nabokov: A Descriptive Bibliography, Revised Edition Summary Nabokov s Congeries The Portable Nabokov A39 Page Stegner, the editor of Nabokov s Congeries, was the author of the first book-length study of Nabokov, Escape into Esthetics, in Nabokov suggested the title of the anthology to Stegner (SL 428). Three sets of works appear here in book form for the first time: the story Terra Incognita, the revised translation of eight Eugene Onegin stanzas, and the essay Reply to My Critics.
