Their upcoming Hip-Hop Showcase series at the legendary Don Hills on August 28 th will be no different, as it is being hosted by one of Hip-Hop s premiere mix tape deejays, Super Star Jay. Since his emergence in New York City, he has proven that putting in work, is the reason he is one of the best new deejays out. Superstar Jay says that he is about giving new plateaus to upcoming artists. Unsigned artists that perform in the AOS Showcase Series have the guarantee that there will be many eyes on them. With the combination of AOS Radio 91.9FM NYC, the internet, and the streets, the showcases create one big media outlet. Adante Ace established AOS Entertainment in the underground scene and has been supporting the streets for almost a decade and a half. He started working with mix tape artists and promoters. He produced tracks for Phace on Brandy s, You Don t Know Me remix and Well, Well, Well by The LOX, to name a few. He promoted the legendary Open Mic Wednesday s at Speed for 5 years. Speed has always been a major venue for the Hip-Hop community; it s where many great artists have performed. Through AOS Entertainment, Ace gave relatively unknown artists the opportunity to perform on Speed s legendary stage. With Ace s huge success with Speed s Open Mic, which people are still begging him to start back up; it was inevitable the Showcase Series would create a sensation. The Showcase Series is the next level from the infamous Open Mic, it offers artists a chance to make money and show the industry their worth and if they re ready for the big time. With the inception of AOS Radio and AOS Radio Latin, as well as its online presence at where the show is also streamed, AOS events are gaining unprecedented attention. Artists from around the country are trying to sign up for the showcases, hoping to get there chance to shine.
