7 Rhetoric Defined A good rhetorician can resolve conflict without confrontation, persuade others of their position, or move an audience to take action. ***The point is to ALTER the audience s beliefs to move it from POINT A to POINT B with WORDS. copyright 2007 James Nelson 7
