They will create poster and present it to the class. Unit 9- Impressionism and Post-Impressionism (2 weeks) Introduction- Notes of the start of Impressionism, The Salon, Nadar's studio, radical in way of painting, open air Activity- broken into 4 groups and assigned an artist, Manet, Monet, Renior, Degas they will prepare a lesson about that artist including note, visuals and a class activity. They will use books, textbooks, and the internet to gather information to teach the class. Post-Impressionism- Focus on Van Gogh reading and webquest Conclusion- Each group will tach their lesson style of Impressionism -continue the discussion of the evolution of painting -research the leading painters and present them in groups Project- Artist Presentation Van Gogh Webquest Notes- the start of Impressionism ARTS2-K4-4B life of Van Gogh What has changed in art from cave paintings to Impressionism?
