2 Course/Module description: an overview of approaches in 20th and 21st century literary theory Course/Module aims: to learn critical and theoretical skills through study of contemporary theory Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to: to become conversant in major theoretical writers and movements of the twentieth and twenty first centuries; to be able to analyze literary texts from different theoretical positions; to be able to compare the differences and likenesses among different theoretical trends.
