2 USING COULD, WOULD, AND SHOULD Some rules about could, would, and should: 1. a verb will always follow could, would, and should examples: I could eat chocolate cake. eat is the verb, (could + eat) I would go to the store. go is the verb (would+ go) I should drink some water. drink is the verb (should+ drink) 2. Example: Would your teacher rather go to the beach? or go to the mountains? Once you have decided, you will write a sentence or two about why I would choose one over the other. Examples: Sara would rather go to the mountains because she likes to hike. Then you will present in front of the class. Read your card and the sentences you wrote!
