1 Welcome to DALLE s Extended Donor Profile DALLE voluntarily provided the following information which will be disclosed to future parents as an aid in their selection General information and characteristics Height: 193 cm Weight: 73 kg Build: Tall and slim Shoe size: 45,5 Clothing size: X-Large Skin tone: Fair Eyebrows: Dark brown Beard: Dark brown Hair: Brown, straight and medium fine Year of birth: 1988 Blood type: O- Words used to describe me would be: Kind, open-minded, generous and easy-going. I also have a good sense of humour. DALLE does not use prescription lenses. He has no allergies, medical conditions or physical abnormalities. He is right-handed. DALLE resembles the Canadian-American actor Jim Carrey. Click here for photos of Jim. Academics DALLE has completed 14 years of education including primpary and lower secondary school. After graduating high school he worked for a year and a half as a cleaning assistant. He plans to start attending university and spend another 5 years on his education. He would like to study either Journalism or English. He would like to be able to live off of his guitar-playing, but a job within the fields of Englsh or Journalism is also desirable. He has previously worked as a waiter, and in an iron foundry. His native language is Danish, and he speaks English and a little German as well. He has not served in the military. I would like to attend university and study either English or Journalism.

2 Q&A with DALLE DALLE answers questions about his life, experiences, and good memories Which words describe your personality? Kind, open-minded, generous and easy-going, but with an occasional stint of harshness towards people with viewpoints that I disagree heavily with, for instance regarding religion, politics and racism. People around me tend to describe me as quiet, but have also said that I make strong arguments when I talk. I will say though, that I have opened more up in social situations in my post-teenage years, if the situation is fitting. Describe your strong sides: My strongest feature is probably my sense of humour. I have no trouble making my friends and people around me laugh. I also think I am pretty good at listening to friends and family, when they have something they need to share. I am also hospitable and empathetic, but with a tendency to dislike people with excessively large egos. I have been playing the guitar since i was 16, and have developed some skills in that area. I especially enjoy jam-sessions with others. I am better at sharing ideas, and developing music that way, than I am at solo composing alone in my room. Describe your weak sides: Sometimes I hide my own personal problems a bit too much from my friends and family, instead of sharing it. Recently, again probably related to teenage hood losing its angst-ridden grip on me, i have gotten better at sharing my worries with friends and family, and in turn finding that the conversation alone goes a long way towards a more comfortable state of mind. My, at times harsh views on people i disagree with, can come across as being somewhat dogmatic and arrogant, although in my defence I try to wrap it in an ironic tone, to indicate my awareness of the fact that people have differing views, and that it is not necessarily a bad thing. What is your marital status? I am currently single. Do you have any children? No. Which types of sport do you play or have played? Sports is not my strong side, although i did go to an athletics club from when i was 9 to 13. I was good at sprint (in those age classes 60 meters is the equivalent of 100 meters for adults), long jump and high jump. I won a lot of gold medals, but I did not have much of a winner s instinct back then, so it was more something my parents wanted me to do, than something I actually enjoyed. Nowadays I settle at watching an occasional football (soccer) match on TV with friends, but that is just as much for the social aspect of it, as it is the watching of the game. Which other types of sports are you interested in? See above. List any other hobbies you may have or have had: Mostly my guitar playing. Recently I have also been playing piano, but mostly to train my ears. I also partake in a rather geeky hobby with two of my good friends called Magic the Gathering, which is a strategic game, based on mental dexterity and planning, set in sort of a Lord of the Rings environment. It can be described as sort of a crossover between poker and chess... Other than that I mostly do regular young man stuff, like playing computer games, hanging out with friends and watching movies. I, voluntarily, do not own a TV though. List which musical instruments you play or have played: Guitar, piano. Religion: None. How many hours of sleep do you get on an average night? 7-8 hours on weekdays. I like to sleep longer during weekends. Do you eat healthy? Not really. I dislike cooking food alone, so unless I have a friend visiting, I have a tendency to eat rather monotonous Do you smoke? Sadly yes. I have been working on that, but then again, most smokers probably have... Do you ride a bicycle? Yes, though it has a flat tire at the moment, so I resort to walking instead. I grew up on the countryside, 4-6 kilometres from school, so I am not unfamiliar with a headwind. Do you drink alcohol? Yes.

3 Q&A with DALLE - continued DALLE s dreams, favourites and experiences Which countries have you visited: England, Sweden, Poland, Germany, Italy and the USA (New York). Describe the best holiday you have had: New York was pretty nice, even though it was only for 5-6 days, which was not really enough at all. It was with my father and my two sisters, and we had a really good time there. It was my first and so far only trip outside of Europe, and seeing (some of) the country in real life, was very interesting, having grown up watching movies and TV shows depicting American culture. My father has a new wife with children with whom I get along very well, but it was nice to spend some time just the four of us, sharing the many experiences such a great city provides. hat is your favourite colour? I guess it s blue, but I enjoy it the most in a mix with other colours. Bonus info: my guitar is a nice creamy white Fender Jaguar, with a tortoise red pick guard. What is your favourite animal? Owls seem pretty cool. What is your favourite kind of food? Both of my parents are pretty good cooks, so I have been blessed with plenty of good food growing up, mostly solid traditional Scandinavian/North European dishes. I am not picky though, and enjoy sampling foods from other cultures as well. If one thing has to be put as my favourite, it would be a good piece of red meat with oven baked potatoes, gorgonzola cheese sauce and a glass of Coca Cola on the side. What is your favourite kind of music? I can not put anything specific here, as I enjoy most types of music, in different situations. Lately I have grown more and more fond of jazz and classical music, but that is probably just a part of growing older. Other favourites include Frank Zappa, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Black Sabbath, Joy Division and Tom Waits. What is your favourite kind of car? Volvo 544. What do you like the most about your own country: The strong social security that our high taxes provide and universal health care both appeal a great deal to me. Our democracy, low corruption level and high level of free speech all seem to work great as well, and as I was pretty hooked on LEGO as a child, that obviously gets a mention too. Which childhood experience made the biggest impression on you? My parents getting divorced was a pretty big deal. Obviously it was a big disappointment at first, but in the long run, it ended up for the better. Seeing my parents find happiness apart, instead of trying to make things tolerable together ended up being a valuable lesson. I especially remember visiting my father in his new apartment that he had moved to, the summer they were separated. Just working together, him and me for a few days, fixing the floors, painting the walls and eating burgers for lunch, really improved my relationship with him a lot. He had previously been preoccupied with his failing marriage I imagine, but that was a little hard to understand at the time. I can think of plenty of other happy childhood moments, but mostly general things, like summer holidays in the countryside, making campfires in the little forest next to our farm, Christmas and things like that. The first time I caught a big Pike was a pretty ecstatic moment too, naturally! What is your favourite kind of pet? My family had a very nice dog named Hunni when I was younger. I was very fond of it, and still miss him in nostalgic moments... Do you have any mechanical skills? Ending sort of low key, I am going to put myself below average on this one... I can restring a guitar though and fix a flat bicycle tire, at least in theory...
