Can You Crack The Code? The White Witch has magic powers. The more love and kindness she gives out, the more powerful she becomes. But she has a secret message to share with you. Syllables All words are made up of one or more sounds, these sounds are called syllables. For example, there are 2 syllables in water. How many syllables does each word have? Helpful Friendship Happiness Loving Beautiful Appreciation
Match The Meaning Sometimes our children's meditations and bedtime stories contain words that you may not be familiar with. Draw lines to match each word to its meaning. Appreciation Generous Emotion Considerate Faith To have complete trust in someone or something. To recognise and be thankful for the good things in your life. Being happy to share and give to others. A strong feeling such as love, anger, fear, joy or sadness. Being careful not to upset other people around you. The Prince s Diary In our children's guided meditation The Quest of the White Knight the prince learnt many very good lessons. Using the words below, fill in the blank spaces to complete his diary. Joy Faith Smiling Happy Wonderful Kind On the journey home from the magical island, I felt so I could barely stop myself from. It had been a day. As the sun set upon the blue sea I couldn t help but appreciate how beautiful the view was. I have learnt to be considerate and think before I speak, so that I don t hurt anybodies feelings. I have also learnt to have in others, as I would never have found her without Elf. The princess truly is the most loving and girl in the entire world. I m so pleased that the animals allowed me to meet her. My heart fills with whenever I look into her eyes. I am the luckiest man alive!
Word Search Love - Happiness - Joy - Fun - Friendship - Caring - Sharing - Kind Opposites Attract Draw a line between the words that mean the opposite. Then take a slow, deep breath and read each word in your mind. You may be able to feel the emotions they bring. Love Healthy Happy Laugh Safe Sad Cry Hate Poorly Afraid Which words make you feel the happiest?
Crack The Secret Code Can you help Captain Joyful Jack to solve the code and unlock the treasure chest. Each row and column must contain the numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 in any order. What s The Time Captain Jack Can you draw the hands onto the clocks. Remember, the short line will be for the hour hand and the long line will be for the minute hand. 8:20am 11:45am 7:50pm
Next Please Can you work out which animal will be next in the sequence by working out the pattern. Write the correct letter in the pink boxes. How Are Your Sums - It All Adds Up 5-5 = 8-5 = 10-5 = 14-5 = 20-5 = 5 x 1 = 5 x 2 = 5 x 3 = 5 x 4 = 5 x 5 = = = = = =
Colours of the Rainbow Draw a line to connect the beautiful colours of the rainbow to their correct name. Once you have finished, try drawing and colouring in your own rainbow in the space below. Orange Yellow Indigo Violet Red Green Blue
Say What You See Write a paragraph about what you can see in this photo. As well as describing what the children are doing, you may want to write about the emotions they could be feeling. Are they a group of friends or one big family? You decide. You may want to use some of the words below to help get you started. Friends Family Smiling Happy Love Fun Cuddle Garden
