4 Contentment is an exhaustibe treasure. You can t fix something that it is not broken. Good FRIENDS are hard to find, harder to eave and impossibe to forget. Actions speak ouder than words. Everything is Ok in the end. If it isn t Ok, it s not the end Easy come, easy go. East or west, home is the best. Necessity is the mother of invention. You can ony go as far as you push. Quick thoughts are sippery thoughts. Nobody is perfect unti you fa in ove with them. Mr. Yahya Qasho Azzoun Sec. Boys Schoo

19 Why Engish is hard to earn Dcu F ww CCo ww.wp rem wd a.nf wuainzc tep!d ae.rcdo 6F m.co TTr m iaria We begin with box ; the pura is boxes, But the pura of ox is oxen, not oxes. One fow is a goose, and two are caed geese, Yet the pura of moose is never caed meese. You may find a one mouse or a house fu of mice ; But the pura of house is houses, not hice. The pura of man is aways men, But the pura of pan is never pen. If I speak of a foot, and you show me two feet, And I give you a book, woud a pair be a beek? If one is a tooth and the whoe set are teeth, Why shoudn t two booths are caed beeth? DPo We speak of a brother and aso of brethren, But though we say mother, we never say methren. Then the mascuine pronouns are he, his, and him; But imagine the feminine she, shis, and shim! Miss W. Radwan

One day the grandson asked, "Grandpa! I try to read the Quran just ike you but I don't understand it, and what I do understand I forget as soon as I cose the book. What good does reading the Qur'an do?" The grandfather gave his grandson the basket that is used to keep coa and tod him to go to the river and bring a basket of water. The boy did as he was tod, but a the water eaked out before he got back to the house. The grandfather aughed and said, "You' have to move a itte faster next time," and sent him back to the river with the basket to try again. This time DPo the boy ran faster, but again the basket was empty before he returned home. Out of breath, he tod his grandfather that it was impossibe to carry water in a basket, and he went to get a bucket instead. The od man said, "I don't want a bucket of water; I want a basket of water. You're just not trying hard enough," and he went out the door to watch the boy try in. At this point, the boy knew it was impossibe, but he wanted to show his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as
21 he coud, the water woud eak out before he got back to the house. The boy again dipped the basket into river and ran hard, but when he reached his grandfather the basket was again empty. Out of breath, he said, "See Grandpa, it's useess!" "So you think it is useess?" The od man said, Dcu F ww CCo ww.wp rem wd a.nf wuainzc tep!d ae.rcdo 6F m.co TTr m iaria "Look at the basket." The boy ooked at the basket and for the first time reaized that the basket was different. It had been transformed from a dirty od coa basket and was now cean, inside and out. Son, that's what happens when you read the Qur'an. You might not understand or remember everything, but when you read it, you wi be changed, inside and out when you read time DPo by time. That is the work of Aah in our ives." Miss Nida Omar / Sannyria Sec. Girs Schoo.
