All the questions are compulsory Read all the questions before attempting them. Q1. Section-A (Reading) Read the passage carefully and answer the questions that follow: Octopuses are aquatic animals that have no bone in their body. They are mostly found in salty water but they can live in all oceans. The octopuses that live in warm waters are small whereas those living in colder waters are big. They have a life span of one to two years. There are about 300 known species of octopus. Their body looks like a big bag with a large head, eyes and eight arms. The arms have suckers that help to grab and taste things. They have excellent eyesight but they are deaf. They have three hearts and its blood is light blue in colour. They eat crab and crayfish and hunt mostly at night. If attacked by an enemy, they shoot an inky fluid that darkens the water and temporarily blinds the enemy. They can change their body colour according to their surrounding to escape the enemy.
