The seed of kautik film festival was sown empathizing with other fellow students who needed a platform to share their experiences as well as look out avenues for their future professional endeavours. With the great success of the festival in its 2017 edition we plan to make it international this year to broaden the horizons. The beauty and serenity of Nainital a small town of Uttarakhand will surely work as a catalyst to attract great audience and film makers from all over the world. It would be a great honour of Kautik to invite films by the students of your reputed institute to participate in its fair Speakers who would like to share their knowledge and experiences with the budding film makers are also invited in this platform. The Event dates are 7 th, 8 th and 9 th April, Last date of submission of application is 10 th of March, If the institute is a part of this vision to promote art in visual medium in return we do promote the institute in all our banners, posters and booklets. Film must be in a digital format. 2. Length of the film shall not exceed 45 minutes. 3. If the language of the film is other than Hindi or English, it should be subtitled in English. 4. 4 COPYRIGHT It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to secure clearance from the copyright holder of any copyrighted material included in the submitted film. Festival committee will not be held responsible for the unauthorized inclusion of any copyrighted material within or relating to the submitted film. The Festival committee reserves the right to disqualify any film with any unauthorized inclusion of copyright material at any point of time. REGISTRATION FEE Once the participant has filled the online application form we will send you an of online transaction or offline payment of Rs.500/-per film. Pre-selection process Selection process contains three stages. Entries will be previewed by pre-selection committee and the short listed films will be previewed by selection committee which will finally select films for the festival kautik. Selection process The decision of the selection committee will be final and binding on all. It will not be subjected to discussion. Film once selected and submitted for the final screening will not be allowed to be withdrawn under any circumstances. Participation in the festival implies acceptance of festival regulation.
