2 Social Recreation Program Events Calendar February 1 st, 2019 Event: LARC Friday Fun Day Details: Come join LARC for crafts, games, and fun with other group homes from around the area! Please pack a lunch. Time: 11:00am 3:00pm Location: Compassionate Heart Ministry 404 Centerstone Ct., Zeeland, MI February 2 nd, 2019 Event: Grand Rapids Drive Game Details: Come join us for another Grand Rapids Drive Game! A hotdog, drink, and huge fan experience is included with admission to the game! Doors open at 6:00pm and game time is at 7:00pm Time: 7:00pm 10:00pm Location: DeltaPlex Arena 2500 Turner Ave. NW, Grand Rapids, MI Transportation: If you need transportation, please meet us at our Allendale Location at 5:15pm. Clients will be dropped off at home February 3 rd, 2019 Event: February Birthday Party Details: Come celebrate all the February birthdays with us! You do not need to have a birthday in February to come. We will have pizza and cake! February 4 th, 2019 Event: Craig s Cruisers Details: Come play games and win prizes with us at the arcade! 3 February 5 th, 2019 February 6 th, 2019 Event: Music Therapy Details: Come relax and enjoy some music therapy with us! A local music therapist from the area will be coming to run a session for us. Time: 12:30pm 1:30pm Calendar February 7 th, 2019 Event: Valentine Treats Details: Come get ready for Valentine s Day with us by decorating some heart shaped cookies and making chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels! February 8 th, 2019 Event: Volunteer Night Details: Each month we hold a volunteer event to give back to the community who has done so much for our organization! This month we will be holding a bottle drive to support our company s efforts raising money to participate in the 2019 Holland Polar Plunge! If you have any empty bottles or cans you are willing to donate please bring them! We will also be working with Meals on Wheels of West Michigan to decorate bags and create cards for them to deliver for Valentine s Day! February 9 th, 2019 Event: Griffin s Games Details: Come join us as we cheer on the Grand Rapids Griffin s hockey team! A hotdog and soda will be provided. Time: 7:00pm 10:00pm Location: Van Andel Arena 130 Fulton St W, Grand Rapids, MI Allendale location at 5:15pm. Clients will be dropped off at home

February 12 th, 2019 February 13 th, 2019 Event: Artists Creating Together (ACT): Open Studio Details: We will be heading to an open art studio to make puzzles incorporating a variety of colorful patterns! Come get creative with us! Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm Location: Artists Creating Together 1140 Monroe Ave NW, Suite 4101, Grand Rapids, MI Transportation: If you need transportation, please meet at our Allendale location at 5:15pm. Clients will be dropped off at home within an hour from the time the event is scheduled to end. February 14 th, 2019 Event: Valentine s Day Party! Details: Come join us for a Valentine s Day Party! We will have cupcakes and make Valentine goodie bags you can take home!

We will have A relaxing night of painting while we enjoy some cookies! February 18 th, 2019 Event: Exercise & Meditation Night Details: Come work out with us through zumba and cardio drumming! Afterwards we will relax by doing yoga and learn about breathing and calming techniques through meditation. February 19 th, 2019

Clients will be dropped off at home within an hour from the time the event is scheduled to end. February 21 st, 2019 Event: Movie Night & Popcorn Bar Details: Come join us for our monthly movie night! This month we will have an extensive popcorn bar with chocolate, candies, and other popular toppings for you to enjoy! February 22 nd, 2019 Event: Game Night Details: Join us for a night filled with fun board games and Wii games! We will participate in some healthy competition by challenging each other. February 23 rd, 2019 Event: Tubing at Cannonsburg Details: Join us to take a trip to Cannonsburg Ski Area to go tubing down their massive snow hills! If tubing isn t your thing you can still join us to watch the skiers and enjoy a hot chocolate! Weather permitting. Time: 11:00am 2:00pm Location: Cannonsburg Ski Area 6800 Cannonsburg Rd., Belmont, MI Allendale location at 10:15am. Clients will be dropped off at home within an hour from the time the event is scheduled to end.
