Circulation Every issue of ByTowne Guide has a minimum print run of 2,000 copies. Deadlines Each issue of covers two months of film presentations: January & February, March and April, etc. is completed and on street about a week prior to first day of its programming period (June 22nd or 23rd for July/August, for example). 5 32 Rideau St., Ottawa (613) Billing and Payment First-time advertisers must pay in advance for first insertion; payment should arrive at ByTowne by same date as deadline for camera ready artwork (see chart on previous page). Subsequent ads will be billed to advertiser via ed.pdf on a Net 30 Day basis. Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer. Sorry, we can t process credit or debit cards. Advertising will be suspended if an account is in arrears. Technical Requirements Finished ads must be prepared to dimensions given, and submitted as electronic files. One of most straightforward ways to do this is to save your finished file as a.tif or.jpeg image file at a resolution of 00 dpi or higher. Beware of programs which automatically downsize your file, though. It may be best to stuff your file into a.sitx or.zip compressed file for error-free transfer. We can also happily use Quark XPress documents (our current version is 11.1), with images and fonts included, or Illustrator files (don t forget to convert your fonts to outlines).
