3 General Information Address: 1215 Hickman Avenue Owensboro, KY Main Phone: Website: About: The Sportscenter, managed by Spectra Venue Management, is one of Owensboro s most historic buildings opened in It is a multi-purpose 5,000 seat arena that hosts graduations, concerts, sporting events, trade shows, meetings, receptions and more. The Owensboro Sportscenter is home to the Division II Kentucky Wesleyan College Panthers Men s and Women s Basketball of the Great Midwest Atlantic Conference, and the Owensboro Catholic High School Aces Basketball. The arena floor has over 11,000 square feet of usable space and can be modified for basketball, concerts, rodeos, expos, banquets, and a variety of other events. There is a recently remodeled concessions area and catering is available. There is a public/private Club Room available. There are approximately 900 parking spaces available for the venue.

4 Box Office The Box Office is open usually one hour before doors open for an event until approximately 30 minutes to one hour into the event. Many ticketed events at the Owensboro Sportscenter are available for purchase online at OwensboroTickets.com. Accepted payment methods for tickets include cash, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Booking Procedures Anyone with questions regarding the availability of dates should contact our Director of Sales & Marketing, Laura Alexander, at Rental structure is based on established rental rates and determined by the type of event and the space used. 5 Measurements The arena floor has over 11,000 square feet of usable space and can be modified for basketball, concerts, rodeos, expos, banquets, and a variety of other events. Actual floor size is x Height from floor to ceiling is 31 feet Permanent stage size is 47 x 26 (Proscenium) Stage Wings: None There is no loading dock. Trucks must be unloaded from flat ground. Forklift rental can be arranged. There is plenty of bus parking available. There is no washer & dryer on site. Production The following dressing rooms are available: Two large team rooms Two medium sized team rooms One small sized team room Two individual rooms All have showers and toilet facilities There is no up rigging as the roof capacity does not allow it. Shows do have the ability to bring ground rigging.

6 Lighting and Electric There are a limited number of wall outlets around the arena floor for use by clients. For stage shows there are five 20amp outlets on the stage. There is eight 20amp outlets that can be brought to the stage. There is one 60amp outlet behind the stage. Shore power: there is a 3-phase 200amp 240volt hookup. There is one 3-phase 400amp 240volt hookup. These can be used for stage power and or outside RV power. Lighting consists of 54 Metal Halide 1000w lamps over the arena floor and 82 fluorescents over the seating area. There are no spotlights but they are available for rental. Sound Full PA system available with audio cassette, MP3, and CD playback available (Soundsphere omnidirectional combo sound system with six delay speakers) connected to a Rolls 8 channel audio mixer. 8 Catering Guidelines No outside food and beverage is allowed to be brought into the venue without permission from the Sportscenter General Manager. The client may be charged an Outside Catering Fee of 15% of the retail price of any food and/or beverages that are not purchased from Spectra Venue Management. All bar services/sales, including alcoholic beverages, are to be done by Spectra. This is not applicable to the 15% fee. All sales, whether hosted or cash, remain property of Spectra. All events must be scheduled by the Owensboro Sportscenter sales staff and the client at which time facility use fees will be determined. Clients will be required to sign facility use contracts and will need to make the Owensboro Sportscenter sales staff aware of the use of a third party caterer prior to agreeing to any facility pricing. Outside local caterers will not have access to Owensboro Sportscenter equipment. Owensboro Sportscenter Exclusivity: Concession sales are not permitted at anytime by an outside vendor. All alcohol served must be handled through the Owensboro Sportscenter s license. Any set up, staffing, or security fees will be billed directly from the Owensboro Sportscenter to the client.
