Thursday, September 27, 2007 WAYNE NEWTON Wayne Newton s name has become synonymous with Las Vegas, where for over a decade he has been the number one attraction. He won the Entertainer of the Year Award more than any other performer and set a record as the highest-paid club performer in Vegas history. A Newton audience is treated to pop, rhythm and blues, ballads, country, and rock music plus solo selections on many instruments and perfect timing in his handling of comedy. He comes to entertain and loves his audiences. Single Tickets: $45, $50 and $55 Sponsored by National City Bank 40 th Anniversary Season
Saturday, October 13, 2007 MAC FRAMPTON & THE HOLLYWOOD HILLS ORCHESTRA And the Winner Is Oscar s Memorable Moments Internationally acclaimed concert pianist and arranger, Frampton has performed over 2,500 concerts worldwide. 4 Saturday, November 10, 2007 BRIAN STOKES MITCHELL IN CONCERT Knowledgeable theatre-goers call Mitchell Broadway s best leading man, and most Broadway performers would agree. He has had a spectacular career, including a Tony Award performance in Man of La Mancha and lead roles in Kiss Me Kate, Ragtime, Kiss of the Spider Woman and Sweeney Todd. Many have seen him in TV performances on Frasier and Crossing Jordan. He has performed in concert halls across America and in top supper clubs. His PBS production lead role in South Pacific won him innumerable new fans. 5 Wednesday, December 12, 2007 MARIE OSMOND The Magic of Christmas Marie Osmond has been welcomed into the homes of millions of Americans for four decades. She brings her personal warmth and the magic of this glorious season to the Orr Auditorium stage. She includes a medley of her own hits from the last 25 years along with a unique video of scenes from famous televised Osmond Family Christmas shows. Some of Marie s children join her on stage to welcome a sleigh full of holiday cheer. Marie invites us to join her very own family in this wonderful evening of family Christmas entertainment. Single Tickets: $35, $40 and $45 Sponsored by Giant Eagle 40 th Anniversary Season
Saturday, March 15, 2008 THE LOWE FAMILY It s difficult to imagine the titanic amount of talent within the musical Lowe family. In an almost miraculous combination, this father, mother, son and five daughters play nearly every musical instrument there is. They sing and do ballroom, jitterbug and Irish step dancing in a production that has nearly a dozen costume changes. Their patriotic finale is called the best ever seen in Branson, Missouri. No wonder they are the number one attended show in Branson. They have performed in Europe, China and South America and are now coming to Westminster College. It s refreshing to have a show of such wholesome family entertainment. Single Tickets: $30, $35 and $40 Sponsored by Sky Bank 40 th Anniversary Season
Tuesday, April 15, 2008 EVITA Winner of seven Tony Awards, Evita brings to the stage the story of the dynamic, larger-than-life persona of Eva Peron, wife of the Argentine dictator, who captivated her nation by championing the working class. This exuberant and captivating large-scale Broadway touring production features Andrew Lloyd Webber s compelling Latin, pop and jazz influenced score, including the mega-popular Don t Cry For Me Argentina. Following a recent large-scale London production, Evita will have a revival on Broadway in 2008 and is destined to become a great hit once again. Single Tickets: $37, $42 and $45. Sponsored by Jameson Health System. 40 th Anniversary Season
D.W. is jealous when her big brother Arthur loses a tooth and gets a visit from the Tooth Fairy. Arthur explains that the Tooth Fairy comes only when you lose a tooth and put it under your pillow at night, so D.W. dreams up some hilarious (but unsuccessful) plans to trick the Tooth Fairy into coming. Singing, dancing and audience participation will thrill audience members of all ages. This is a full-scale, professional musical production based on the award-winning book series by Marc Brown and top-rated PBS TV series Marc Brown. All RightsReserved. Two shows: 10:30 am and 6:30 pm Tickets: $30, $20, $16, $12 Sponsored by Dr. Richard M. Ribarevski, Orthodontist Special Children s Show Wednesday, October 17, 2007 Arthur Tricks the Tooth Fairy Personal appearance by Marc Brown at Westminster College October 10 7pm Orr Auditorium Free and open to the public Special Show A Celebrity Series Salute to Veteran s Day Thursday, November 15, 2007 WAR BONDS The Letters and Songs of World War II Two professional singers and a back-up band take a musical journey through a war that redefined the world. The show explores the personal and sometimes darker side of war accompanied by the lovely and often light-hearted popular tunes of the day. These tunes, over 20 in the show, are the songs we look back on with nostalgic fondness today. Tickets: $17 and $25 Sponsored by Dr. and Mrs. Pek C. Teh and Dr. and Mrs. Daniel Callaghan, Jr.
