4 A UNIQUE & ICONIC VENUE The discreet façade in the heart of the West End conceals over 448 square meters of elegant and flexible space across three floors. Formerly the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours, the high ceilings and natural light are a testament to the past, whilst BAFTA 195 Piccadilly now houses some of the most technically advanced event and hospitality facilities in London, alongside the private club for BAFTA Members. Our world-class rooms can be used to host pre-release film screenings or offer a unique platform to say I do on your special day. 5 AN EXCEPTIONAL DINING EXPERIENCE Our Head Chef, Anton Manganaro combines a taste for great modern British cuisine with welcoming bonhomie. I like to make sure that I add a personal touch, from sourcing first-class fresh seasonal produce to creating bespoke menus for every occasion. In my eyes, everybody who walks through the doors at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly is a VIP and deserves the best, whether they re sampling canapés for 20 people or a fivecourse dinner for 180. Graham Lloyd-Bennett, our 195 Club Manager, works closely with Anton to select cocktails, wines and other beverages to fully complement our menus. Three unique areas are licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies; the showstopping stage in the Princess Anne Theatre, the spectacular David Lean Room and the intimate Run Run Shaw theatre provide an elegant backdrop to your special day. Our Head Chef Anton will work closely with you to create a tailor-made menu and our team can arrange all other aspects to make your event at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly truly memorable. We have a trusted list of bestin-field suppliers chosen for their creativity and expertise, who will work with you to provide everything from entertainment and music, to production and floral displays. 8 PRINCESS ANNE THEATRE Our technically superb and plush private cinema provides a bespoke setting for screenings, conferences, seminars and awards ceremonies, not to mention staging for bar mitzvahs and theatrical wedding ceremonies. 9 DAVID LEAN ROOM & FOYER BAR Named in honour of the legendary film director, BAFTA 195 Piccadilly s sophisticated David Lean Room and its adjoining Foyer Bar lend themselves to all kinds of transformations. Its elegant and spacious proportions are such that it can play host to a myriad of functions, from auctions to gala dinners, weddings, press launches, business conferences or presentations. A sliding wall cleverly unifies or divides the main room and Foyer Bar, adding to the versatility of the space. I have never experienced such fantastic service from a venue - it was, in all honesty, impeccable. 10 RUN RUN SHAW THEATRE & MEZZANINE The Run Run Shaw Theatre and neighbouring Mezzanine offer the most adaptable of spaces. An intimate room ideal for short screenings, it can also be used for presentations, dinners and board meetings. Its sliding soundproof doors open up the room to the adjoining Mezzanine, overlooking the BAFTA Members Bar, thereby creating a generous space that is perfect for a party or pre-screening drinks reception. There is also direct access to the Princess Anne Theatre should you wish to combine all these spaces. 11 THE GALLERY The Gallery is a glass-walled space overlooking the Members Club perfectly positioned to offer a discreet venue to hold small meetings and dinners, media interviews, or use as a green room. TO THE PRINCESS ANNE THEATRE THE MEZZANINE CAPACITY Bathed in natural light, the room is air-conditioned and houses a widescreen plasma screen. Its proximity to the Run Run Shaw Theatre and Mezzanine means that it can also serve as an ideal break-out space for larger events. 12 THE BOARDROOM Used by BAFTA as the location for those allimportant awards decisions, the Boardroom is perfect for smaller events such as presentations, meetings, private lunches and intimate dinners. It was our best event so far! We were so well looked after, and our guests were very happy indeed.
