2 Sponsor one of Vancouver s Signature Events The PuSh International Performing Arts Festival is one of Vancouver s signature events. Produced over three weeks each January, the PuSh Festival presents groundbreaking work in the live performing arts. The Festival showcases acclaimed international, national and local artists and mixes them together with an alchemy that inspires audiences, rejuvenates artists, stimulates the industry and forges productive relationships around the globe. The Festival is a broker of international partnerships, a meeting place for creative minds, a showcase of Canada s best and an incubator of brilliant new work. The PuSh Festival expands the horizons of Vancouver audiences and artists with work that is visionary, genre-bending, multi-disciplined, startling and original.

The Festival takes place at 18 different locations throughout Vancouver and is anchored by one venue, Club PuSh at Performance Works on Granville Island. The Festival features artists from 9 countries spanning all corners of the globe (including Argentina, Belgium, England, France, Japan, Scotland, Taiwan, USA) representing theatre, dance, music and multimedia. In 2012 the Festival reached attendance levels of over 23,000 from around Metro Vancouver. In 2013, attendance is projected to surpass 2012 with increased performances, larger venues and the presentation of three site-specific works presented in public spaces.
