6 Information about the Prospect Theatre Seats: 184 plus an extra 140 Price: 115 per hour including Duty Manager and technician. The Prospect Theatre is a modern, purpose-built theatre space with raked, removable seating for up to 184 patrons, with the capacity to increase this to 300 for corporate events and presentations. It is a traditional, proscenium arch space with a 12x8m matt black dance floor. The front of the staging area also houses an orchestra pit, available upon special request. Prospect Theatre Prospect Theatre Technical Facilities The theatre houses a fully-integrated, Zero88 operated lighting system controlling a 72 circuit half fixed/half flown lighting rig. The tech box houses a 48 channel intelligent lighting desk with easy programming for shows. A state-of-the-art digital sound system offers a professional and crisp sound. The performance area houses a 24in/4out stagebox for live sound set-ups, whilst the tech box houses 2 auto-cueing CD players and a Qlab enabled Mac for playback, as well as a 16 channel Yamaha digital mixing desk. The tech box also controls the theatre's projection facilities. Projection in the theatre can be run in a variety of different ways, from conference-style presentation set-ups, to larger-scale theatrical displays. Projection can be run from an in-house PC or Mac, or from a laptop on stage. A communication system is also installed to facilitate show cueing, with points located around the theatre and surrounding areas. A show relay screen is located outside the dressing rooms. An induction loop is in place for those hard of hearing. Stage Hospitality The theatre also houses our newly refurbished ambient front of house receiving area with box office desk, space to serve drinks, hot and cold running water and refrigeration. The front of house area also houses two digital screens which can be used to show welcome presentations or advertise future events. Dance/Drama Studio Two dressing rooms backstage are completed by mirrored make-up tables with surrounding lights and shower and toilet facilities.

We also have the added benefit of the site being unused for education for 13 weeks during the year. Our site has recently been used in the filming of an action sci-fi movie which was premiered at the SXSW Festival in Austin. As well as the obvious use of the site as a college/school we can double up as a theatre, airport terminal, train station, university campus, housing estate, company global headquarters, gym, office block, laboratory, Doctor s surgery, recording studio the list is endless and only limited by your own imagination!
