The Theatre Department at Madisn High Schl is pleased t be yur hst. We hpe t make this event a thrilling and psitive experience fr yur students and yu. Here is the cntest infrmatin and Cntact numbers: Date f Technical Rehearsal and Cntest: Saturday, April 12. Rehearsals are 60 minutes. This will be a lng day fr all f us and it will start early. Directrs Meeting at 2:00 pm n Saturday. Then the first shw will begin at 3:00 pm and run back t back. Prgram cpy will be taken frm yur n-line eligibility. If there are changes befre cntest, please bring a substitutin frm. All directrs shuld be listed n the eligibility. 3 Adjudicatr: Eric Geyer is a published playwright with ver 50 prductins f his wrk thrughut Nrth America. He was a UIL One-Act Play State Champin as a student in 1991 and as a directr was a 6-time State Champin in the Private Schls Interschlastic Assciatin One-Act Play Cntest. He is currently the Head f Drama, Speech and Debate at Saint Mary s Hall in San Antni where he cached the 2010 Texas Frensic Assciatin State Champin in Duet Acting. REHEARSALS: Please be at least 30 minutes early fr yur rehearsal. Please meet ur Stage Manager at the lading dck behind the auditrium. Madisn HS will have a student runner wh will bring yu frm yur rm t yur perfrmance space 10 minutes befre yur scheduled times f bth yur rehearsal and Perfrmance. Arrival/ Lad In: The map has directins t the Lading Dck parents shuld NOT use this entrance. Cmpanies will stre items in squares in the hallway next t the auditrium. Items such as prps and walkables shuld be taken t yur assigned rm. Plan t leave yur set pieces in the space prvided t yu in the hallway by the stage. Please take anything yu may need t the rm. We encurage students nt t walk arund the area as ther schls will be in rehearsal.

4 The Hspitality Rm and Directrs Meeting lcatin is the Blackbx Theatre PA155. It is lcated just inside the duble glass drs Lbby stage left. Snacks fr all directrs and judges will be made available in the Hspitality Rm. The judge will have a private lcatin t tally the vtes. Directrs: Please bring all necessary dcumentatin (Publisher permissin, Prf f Ryalties, Substitutin frms, Sund cue lg, Sund script, Set additins, Permissin t perfrm play nt n the apprved list, Cmmunity Standards frm and payment) with yu t rehearsal. There will be full disclsure at the rehearsal. Plan t rehearse with all the set pieces, fabrics, and items that yu will use in perfrmance. Rms will be ed t the schl directr as sn as all results have been annunced. Dressing Rms will be prvided fr the entire day f the cntest. Please secure all persnal belnging befre rehearsal and perfrmance. Please clear dressing rms befre the Awards Ceremny. This includes all trash, fd, etc. PERFORMANCES: Saturday, April 12 Perfrmances begin at 3:00PM and will run back t back. N ticket - n entry please let yur cmpany knw. We will als prvide a ticket fr yur bus driver. We d nt prvide tickets fr thse traveling with the grup that are nt part f the cmpany. We have a great staff that will assist yu in every way. There will be a cncessin stand in the lbby fr students and patrns wanting t snack. All fd must be cnsumed befre entering the theatre.
