UO No.1838/2015/Admn dated UO Note no /EX-I-ASST-3/2015/PB dated dated from the Chairman, Board of Studies in Music 5. Orders of the Vice Chancellor in file of even number dated ORDER The Modified Regulations of Choice Based Credit Semester System for UG Curriculum with effect from 2014 Admission under the University of Calicut was implemented vide paper read first above. Vide paper read second the Scheme and Syllabus of BA Music under CUCBCSS in the University was implemented with effect from 2014 Admission. Vide paper read third the EX-1 Section, Pareeksha Bhavan pointed out various anomalies in the Syllabus of BA Music CUCBCSS 2014 Admission. Vide paper read fourh, the Chairman, Board of Studies in Music forwarded the Corrected version of the Syllabus, correcting the anomalies pointed out by EX-1 Section, Pareeksha Bhavan. The Corrections effected are: 1. The Total Marks of all Programmes has been fixed as The Course codes of all papers are changed as per the directions of the University. 3. All courses coming under Open Course are Practicals. 4. The Examinations for the Complementary courses of I & III Semesters shall be conducted along with the II & IV Semesters. 5. The Model Question Papers of Vocal, Veena and Violin are attached with the Syllabus. 6. The Core course Theory for Vocal, Veena, and Violin programmes are common except the Core Course -VIII of the V Semester.
2 Vide paper read fifth, the Vice Chancellor has given orders to upload the Corrected version of the syllabus of BA Music CUCBCSS 2014 ( Vocal, Veena, Violin,Mridangam) in the website. Orders are issued accordingly. 1. The Total Marks of all Programmes has been fixed as The Course codes of all papers are changed as per the directions of the University. 3. All courses coming under Open Course are Practicals. 4. The Examinations for the Complementary courses of I & III Semesters shall be conducted along with the II& IV Semesters. 5. The Model Question Papers of Vocal, Veena and Violin are attached with the Syllabus. 6. The Revised CUCBCSS UG Regulations has been implemented with effect from 2014 admission for all UG Programmes under CUCBCSS in the University vide paper read second above. The Board of Studies in Music vide paper read third discussed the Syllabus of BA Music CUCBCSS 2014 Admission and unanimously finalised and approved the BA Music CUCBCSS Syllabus 2014 admission and decided to implement the same from 2014 admission. Vide paper read fourth the Faculty of Fine Arts approved the Minutes of the Meeting of the Board of Studies in Music held on and and the BA Music CUCBCSS Syllabus 2014 admission.
