This week students will cnsider what they prefer t listen t when they are feeling stressed ut, flat, ptimistic and awesme. The students will be able t set up a persnalised My Music accunt t cllect and develp playlists which express emtin and can be used t regulate md. The students will be able t create their wn persnalised playlists under md headings f Stressed Out, Flat, Optimistic and Awesme. Students will be able t access accmpanying art activities. Students will be prepared fr alerts that will present n their Stressed ut and Flat playlists. Students will be able t access the Md Card fr persnalised feedback n hw effective their chsen activities are fr expressing emtin and influencing md. The Optimistic playlist will cntain sngs that yu like t listen t when feeling chilled r peaceful and the Awesme playlist will cntain sngs yu like t listen t when feeling excited r happy. Students can either bring sngs ver frm each f the my md states n the Music and Md page r search fr sngs thrugh (YuTube functin? with n vide audi visualiser). Theses playlists will be saved t yur wn persnal lgin accunt. T access yur playlists in the future yu will need t enter yur persnal URL in space prvided. 8

9 Art Activities: Bring attentin t art activities that can be accessed in each f the playlists if yu chse. An ptin will present itself n each f the playlists if yu wuld like t d mandala cluring while feeling stressed ut r. when in a flat md,.. while listening t yur ptimistic playlist r ding when in an awesme md. If yu dn t want t d the suggested art activity yu may chse t decline. Bring attentin t alerts that will appear in the Stressed ut and Flat playlists at track 4 and again at track 8. The alerts will check in with students t see if they have had enugh time t express their emtins, if the music is helping r making them feel wrse and if they think it s time t mve nt the next md space f My Music and Md scale. Theses alerts have been placed t remind students that listening t music when yu re feeling lw can end up making yu feel wrse. The alerts are placed t encurage increased cnsciusness surrunding the use f music. Students can begin t create their wn persnal lgin accunts and start t develp their wn playlists under each f the md headings. Have students recrd their URL fr future lgins.
