2 ABOUT presents Soul Sauce T he bb Collective s original band, Soul Sauce was formed in 2007 to provide a fresh and soulful new approach to live music entertainment. The band's swift ascendance and busy schedule is testament to the quality that each and every musician, with their various backgrounds in jazz, funk, rock and soul, bring to the group. Soul Sauce offers a range of line ups and can tailor their set lists to suit each occasion. The core band is a 6 piece ensemble led by two powerhouse female vocalists and with dynamic and exciting musicians on keys, guitar, bass and drums. The band can be extended from here to include trumpet and sax, adding the brass licks that soul music is famed for, and even go to a full scale 10 piece line up, bringing in a male vocalist and a percussionist. With this versatility there is an option to suit most venues and budgets. Soul Sauce have played at events all over the world, from society weddings in the South of France to awards ceremonies at some of London s most prestigious venues. They have performed for celebrities, sports stars, The Royal Households and, most importantly, thousands of people who love to dance when they play This act combines energy and incredible stage presence with the professionalism needed on important occasions. You were faced with a series of tough audiences but managed to keep the dance floor full all night at every event You were a pleasure to work with and your professionalism regarding the last minute change in timings was hugely appreciated. We have no hesitation in recommending you for future events. The band members were professional and incredibly flexible to our needs as a company. 6 staging options booking notes 6 Piece Band guitar drums bass 3m Stage Area: "Stage" area of at least 3m deep x 4m wide for the 6 piece band or 4m deep by 5m wide for the 8-10 piece band, with 4 x 13 amp sockets within easy reach Set Up: Set up will take about an hour Sound Check: We would ideally have a quick sound check after we have set up, enabling us to check the acoustics and levels. If there are guests in the room while we are setting up we can make this as brief as possible. Sound Engineer: We will bring our own sound engineer with us unless advised that you have your own technical staff. 8 Piece Band 4m keys Sound Limiters: Please check with your venue if there are any sound limiters in place and let us know at what level they are set. Please be aware, this may affect our ability to play at your event and what size of band we can offer. Equipment: The bb Collective will provide full PA and back line unless otherwise advised. Our equipment is PAT tested and suitable for venues that can take up to 350 people. For larger venues, we are happy for our equipment to be used as part of a larger PA system. Cancellation Policy: Cancellation from time of booking up to one month before the event: we retain your deposit as a cancellation fee Cancellation 2-4 weeks before the event: we retain your deposit and are entitled to 50% of your fee for loss of other business and work already completed for the event Cancellation less than 2 weeks before the event: we retain your deposit and are entitled to 100% of your fee for loss of business and work already completed for the event guitar drums bass keys 4 m Insurance: We are covered by Public Liability Insurance up to 2 million. Please let us know if your venue would like a copy of our policy. Band Rider: We request that the following items are provided at no cost to the band. If any of the below items present a problem for you, just get in touch and let us know. We can usually work around any issues as long as we are aware of them Supply of mineral water and soft drinks while the musicians are at the venue sax trpt Meal or buffet for all band members and sound engineer Parking for 4 vehicles and an unloading space near to the entrance of the venue A room for us to get changed in where we can leave instrument cases etc and wait between sets 5m
