2 FOOD HOSPITALITY WORLD DEBUTS IN GOA! In a new milestone, Food Hospitality World (FHW) opened its doors for the first time in Goa. The 26th edition of FHW exhibition was inaugurated by Chef Hemant Oberoi, consultant, Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) FAMOUS FLAVOURS OF GOA! The event also witnessed the launch of an exclusive coffee table book titled 'Famous Flavours of Goa' featuring Goan recipes by well known chefs in the industry. Dignitaries present during the book launch included Chef Sunit Sharma, executive chef, Cidade De Goa; Chef Manjit Singh, executive chef, Holiday Inn Resort Goa; Chef Surajit Sarkar, senior sous chef, The O Resort and Spa, Goa; Chef K S Mahesh, executive chef, Radisson Blu Resort Goa Cavelossim Beach; Chef Edia Cotta, Goan specialty chef at Spice Studio, Alila Diwa Goa; and Chef Farooq Baig, executive chef, The Zuri White Sands, Goa Resort & Casino 2

3 FHW GOA - OVERVIEW 180+ exhibiting brands EXHIBITORS SPEAK 3,485 visitors 115 special event attendees It was a good exhibition. Since Goa is a potential market, FHW's penetration can be increased further in the upcoming editions. Namit Goel, director, Springtek Mattress The exhibition was good. We were first time participants at FHW and we got a reasonably good response. Dipesh Chodankar, Bacardi India FHW Goa was a good exhibition. Four-five clients, whom we had informed beforehand about the exhibition, came to visit us here and showed interest in our products. Exhibitions like Food Hospitality World exposes a market like Goa to various business opportunities. Our Culinary Forum of Goa worked together with FHW to make the Culinary Challenge of Goa a success. It was well-organised, well-coordinated, informative and offered great exposure to various vendors. In addition, the exhibition was also better organised than the previous trade shows attended in Goa. 5 SHOW HIGHLIGHTS 3 days Power Panels Culinary Extravaganza & more Culinary challenge of Goa Leading chefs from across Goa came together under one roof to compete in the Culinary Challenge of Goa to bring the essence of the Goan and international food culture into the forefront Hospitality Think Tank Armchair discussion with Ms. Pooja Patti, GM, Country Inn & Suites by Carlson, Goa Candolim highlighting the 'Evolution of Goa as a MICE Destination' The Power of Purchase Panel discussion on the 'Changing Face of Hospitality Procurement' spoke about the need for purchase managers to come to the forefront and the aim to reach out to their colleagues in India's smaller towns and cities. 5

6 SHOW HIGHLIGHTS Hospitality Knowledge Exchange The highlight of the concluding day of the exhibition was the Hospitality Knowledge Exchange panel discussion on 'Goa as a Resort Destination: The Business of Hoteliering'. GLIMPSES 6

7 VISITOR PROMOTION CAMPAIGN Marketing FHW newsletters featuring brands on board, show highlights, special events schedule etc., formed part of the e-marketing campaign. This was directed to a core database of 40,000 buyers across categories in over 2 million s in the course of pre-show promotions. VIP Buyer Campaign The FHW Goa 2015 visitor campaign was accompanied by a 2-month personalized follow-up campaign by a focused telecalling team, inviting people personally to attend the show. The campaign targeted VIP and important buyers from the HORECA and trade visitor categories and covered over 12,000 contacts from Goa and neighbouring cities. Print & Online Promotions An extensive pre-show campaign, conducted by presenting media partner Food & Hospitality World Magazine and partner publications and trade portals. Mainline Advertisement Campaign FHW advertising campaign included advertising in prominent national and regional newspapers such as the Navhind Times, Times of India, O Heraldo, Loksatta, etc. 7
