Unit 5 Intrducing Music Perfrmance Learning Aims: - A Develp yur music perfrmance skills and review yur dwn practice -B Use yur music perfrmance skills within rehearsal and perfrmance. Students will be required t learn frm a list f chsen pieces prvided by the teacher. These sngs have been carefully chsen t ensure that students are learning new skills and understanding f music that will develp prir knwledge whilst instigating the need t learn new skills. Frmative: Mck recital: Students will be assessed individually t ensure that they are imprving their skills and understanding f music n their chsen instrument. Summative: Students will perfrm at the end f this half term as a grup ensemble. Students will be assessed n meeting BTEC perfrmance Week 1: Assess students ability n a variety f instruments and prvide hnest and fair advise n what instrument they shuld pursue based n their interests. Week 4: Frmative assessment, mck recital. Week 6: Summative assessment as a grup ensemble. Week 7: Reflectin f ne's perfrmance and as an L - Lyrics, reflectin based n a P E E apprach.
