Newsreel special by Trevor Duncan. Music like this was played in the cinema before showing films about what was happening in the war. Track 4. Count the stars by Otto Sieben. Typical big band music from the 1940s. Track 5. Supper at the Savoy, played by a small string orchestra. Most musicians had gone to fight in the war so often live music was played by only a few instruments. 4.
