1 Orchestra- Beginning Level Category Notation Signs, Symbols, and terms Pitch Discrimination Rhythm Technique Ensemble Playing Blend and Balance Minimum Standard Recognize the time signatures of: 4/4, 2/4, 3/4. Recognize and identify the staff, bar lines, measures, treble clef, alto clef, and bass clef. Recognize and perform keys of D, G, and C Major. Recognize and execute the signs, symbols, and terms introduced in a first-level method book. Differentiate whether two tones are in or out of tune. Count and play rhythms as encountered in a first-level method book/vboda grade I music.
