An unknown subject had tacked paper onto the painting. A small undetectable pin hole was left in the painting. Incident Type: Driving Under Suspension 1 st & Open Container Beer/Wine Time Reported: 11:25 PM Time(s) Occurred: 11:25 PM Synopsis: Officer was conducting stationary radar when he observed the subject traveling at a high rate of speed. The officer conducted a traffic stop. While checking the subjects information it came back the subject was suspended indefinitely. While taking inventory of the vehicle the officer located an open can of Budweiser. The subject was arrested and taken to the RHLC for booking. The officer was able to locate the source and made contact with the subject who admitted to smoking it earlier in the day. No marijuana was found but a flask was found in the top drawer of the subject. The subject will be referred to the Winthrop University Office of Judicial Affairs. Disposition: Ex-Cleared 18 and Over

The officer contacted dispatch and had them contact York County EOS. They had received a call in reference to a student who was having a sickle cell flare up. At no time was WUPD contacted about the incident. The officer spoke with the complainant who stated the subject made eye contact with her, ducked behind Crawford and then back out onto Scholars. The complainant did not feel afraid, just thought it was weird. The officer made contact with the subject who stated he lived at Richardson Hall and was intoxicated. The officer observed and permitted the subject to go to Richardson Hall.

The officer made contact with the subject who was conscious and alert but very confused. The subject didn t know how he got there or what day it was. The subject was transported to PMC for further evaluation and treatment. Since the incident was in Rock Hill, RHPD was notified and they responded. Two students were issued state citations for Transfer of Alcohol to Person Under 21 and both will be referred to the Winthrop University Office of Judicial Affairs. The victim stated that two subjects came to her apartment and forced their way in and began to assault her. The victim knows the subjects and had previous interaction with them on her job. The victim filed a report with RHPD but wanted to make WUPD aware of the situation. The victim stated he locked the bike at the bike rack at Richardson over winter break. When the victim returned the bike was not there. Disposition: Admin. Closed

The officer located the subject who could hardly walk due to being intoxicated. The subject fell and had to be helped up and assisted. The subject was unable to make complete sentences. The subject was arrested and taken to the RHLC for booking and will also be referred to the Winthrop University Office of Judicial Affairs. The officer made contact with the subject who stated she didn t have the money to pay for a permit and she paid a friend $10 to make a permit. The student will be referred to the Winthrop University Office of Judicial Affairs. Officer made contact with the resident and could immediately detect the odor of marijuana. During the search the officer located a bottle of Jose Cuervo teguila and the subject is under 21 years of age. The officer also located a baggie of marijuana. The subject was issued state citations for both violations and will also be referred to the Winthrop University Office of Judicial Affairs. The officer made contact with two juveniles who stated they were taking a shortcut to the store but the store was the other direction. One subject was also wearing gloves. A check of the area found no damage. Both subjects were issued trespass notices and escorted off Winthrop property. Date Reported: 01/28/2018 Date(s) Occurred: 01/28/2018 Location: Lee Wicker Hall Incident Type: Trespassing Domestic Disturbance Time Reported: 1:10 AM Time(s) Occurred: 1:10 AM Synopsis: The officer responded and met with the victim who wished to have her boyfriend (Non-Student) removed from her room. The victim stated they had been arguing and wanted him to leave before things got out of control. The officer made contact with the subject and escorted him out of the building and issued him a trespass notice for one year.

The subject stated his girlfriend had put him out of the building and he had no phone, car or anywhere to go. The victim stated she did not feel threatened just did not want to argue anymore. When the officer went back to see the subject and issue him a trespass notice he was no there and could not be located. Date Reported: 01/28/2018 Date(s) Occurred: 01/28/2018 Location: Intersection of Cherry Rd. & Winthrop Alumni Dr. Incident Type: Medical Assistance Injured Pedestrians Time Reported: 5:37 PM Time(s) Occurred: 5:37 PM Synopsis: Officer responded to the area by the railroad tracks in reference to two victims who had been struck by a vehicle while crossing the street. RHPD, RHFD and EMS responded to the scene. The subject stated he did not see the victims due to the heavy rain and darkness. Both of the victim denied being transported to PMC for further evaluation and treatment. The victim stated he always shows up when she is on shift and is not a student. The subject was advised to visit the other Starbucks and was placed on trespass notice. The student stated she had these in the past and was transported to Health Services.
7 Date Reported: 01/29/2018 Date(s) Occurred: 01/29/2018 Location: Wofford Hall Incident Type: Welfare Check Time Reported: 5:27 PM Time(s) Occurred: 5:27 PM Synopsis: Officer responded to Wofford in reference to a welfare check at the request of the student s mother. The mother stated her daughter had the flu and had not spoken to her since the 28 th. The R/A informed the officer she had seen the victim earlier in the day. A message was left for the student to contact her mother and Campus Police. Incident #: Date Reported: 01/30/2018 Date(s) Occurred: 01/30/2018 Location: Lee Wicker Hall Incident Type: Assault & Battery & Trespassing Time Reported: 1:08 AM Time(s) Occurred: 1:08 AM Synopsis: Officer responded in reference to a domestic dispute between the subject and victim that had become physical. The subject and victim got into an argument in the victims room over a text message and the subject slapped the victim in the face. The victim then asked the subject to leave and she refused to do so. The victim does not wish to pursue charges but the subject will be referred to the Winthrop University Office of Judicial Affairs. Disposition: Ex-Cleared 18 and Over Date Reported: 01/30/2018 Date(s) Occurred: 01/30/2018 Location: Intersection of Alumni Dr. & Columbia Ave. Incident Type: Assist Other Agency Time Reported: 11:20 AM Time(s) Occurred: 11:20 AM Synopsis: Officers responded to assist RHPD with a traffic accident. The subject s drink had fallen and he leaned over to pick it up when he struck the victims vehicle. RHPD worked the accident. Date Reported: 01/31/2018 Date(s) Occurred: 01/31/2018 Location: Founders Lane Lot Incident Type: Suspicious Vehicle Time Reported: 3:10 PM Time(s) Occurred: 3:10 PM Synopsis: Officer was patrolling the area when he came upon a suspicious vehicle with the back door ajar. A check of the vehicle found the owner to be wanted by YCSO and Hanahan PD. The officer was finally able to locate the driver but it was not the subject who owed the vehicle and they did not know the subject.
