3 ASV Superlucent Panel The polished surface of the polarizing plates decreases the influence of outside light which reproduce images with magnificent colours and clarity. 50,000:1 Dynamic Contrast The ASV superlucent panel achieves a high contrast ratio of 50,000:1. This enhances the clarity and expressiveness of black colours, providing more realistic pictures with fine gradations for movies and other video content. Thanks to an ambient light sensor on the front bezel, the picture brightness is intelligently adjusted to match the viewing environment. OPC will automatically increase picture brightness where there is a high degree of ambient light and reduce the backlight intensity when the TV is viewed in darker surroundings. This function helps to reproduce the best picture quality in any viewing environment, reduces stress on the eyes, and also conserves energy. Traditional LCD TV panels are able to reproduce eight bits of colour, but advanced LCD panels have the ability to process ten bits of data per sub-pixel.
