Wayne s, Inc, warrants each product that it manufactures to be free from defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is applicable only for the normal service life expectancy of the product or components, not to exceed 12 consecutive months from the date of the delivery to the original purchaser. This warranty coverage applies only to the original owner and is not transferable. Under no circumstances will it cover any merchandise or components thereof, which in the opinion of the company has been subject to misuse, unauthorized modification, alterations, improper installation, maintenance, and accident or if repairs have been made with parts other than those obtained through Wayne s Inc or its dealers. Our obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing at our facility or our dealerships or replacing, free of charge to the original purchaser, any part that, that in our judgment, shall show evidence of such defect, provided further that such be returned within 30 days from the date of failure to Wayne s Inc, routed through the dealer from whom the purchase was made, transportation charges prepaid. Proof of purchase must also accompany the returning defective part.

3 This warranty shall not be interpreted to render Wayne s, Inc or its dealer liable for injury or damages of any kind or nature to person or property. This warranty does not extend to the loss of revenue, extra labor cost associated with downtime, substitute machinery, rental, or for any other reason. Except as set forth above, Wayne s Inc, or its dealer shall have no obligation or liability of any kind on account of any of its equipment and shall not be liable for special or consequential damages. Wayne s Inc, and its dealer make no other warranty, express or implied, and specifically Wayne s Inc. disclaims any implied warrant or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some states or provinces do not permit limitations or exclusions of implied warranties or incidental or consequential damages, so the limitations or exclusions in this warranty may not apply. This warranty is subject to any existing conditions of supply, which may directly affect our ability to obtain materials or manufacturers replacement parts. No one is authorized to alter, modify, or enlarge this warranty nor the exclusion, limitations, and reservations. Tractor manufacturers may deem tile plows as unauthorized modification, or as non-tractor manufactured parts or equipment thus voiding their Limited Warranty and Limitation of Liability Agreement for Agricultural Equipment. Wayne s, Inc. does not assume any tractor/dozer repair costs incurred as a result of damage during the usage of Wayne s tile plow or as a result of any uncovered manufacturers warranties either stated or implied. Further questions regarding your warranty should be directed to your specific tractor company.

5 DAC 2X Mounting the Sensor Mount X2 sensor on the laser arm of the plow. As per instructions on DAC 2X decal, place sensor label side up, with arrow pointing forward. Secure the sensor with bolts and lock washers and/ or lock nuts. Tech screws are not recommended and have been know to loosen due to vibration DAC 2X Slope Sensor Placement There are 3 cables. 5P-SLOPE-6P black cable which connects to the DAC 2X slope sensor and the On Plow cable. On Plow cable which connects at the hitch and connects to the black cable attached to the DAC 2X In Cab cable which connects to the On Plow cable and the DAC 7000 and attaches to blue connector labeled CAN Secure cables from sensor to cab with Zip ties

6 DAC 7000 Setup (within AGPS ) Choosing the DAC 7000 for control is needed. In AGPS, go to the Device Menu and pick DAC7000 as the choice. This allows the DAC 7000 to control the hydraulics. Click on the Menu button Choose Devices Menu

7 Select Choose the Kind of Blade Control Select DAC 7000 Enter the COM port the DAC is connected to Typically COM2 on Sailor and COM3 on AFL12A.

8 Duplicate Elevation Control Choose NONE as this feature of the DAC 7000 is used with dual scraper application not a tile plow. Side-Slope Control When using side-slope compensation or control (DAC 2X): Choose DAC7000 Box as E ; if not, leave as NONE, do not use Side-Slope Control

9 Fore-Slope Control When using fore-slope compensation or control (DAC 2X): Choose DAC7000 Box as D ; if not, leave as NONE, do not use Fore-Slope Control Side-Shift Steering Control When using steering controls (self-propelled plows only):choose DAC7000 Box as C ; if not, leave as NONE, do not use Side-Shift, Steering Control NONE will be the choice for most applications. To access these settings after the DAC 7000 has been set up select Devices Menu then Setup

10 Your Tractors Hydraulic Flow should be set at 65% for your elevation cylinders and 100% for pitch cylinders. If you have only 1 set of hoses going to the tractor set the flow to 100% before starting calibration DAC 7000 Configuration Select Main Menu then Devices Menu Select Run the DACCFG Utility

11 Choose Setup DAC 7000 Main Configuration window will appear The box is outlined in blue when idle and outlined in yellow or solid blue when activated. Pushing the screen in excess will cause the application to crash. Choose the vehicle or external valve type Upload Config to DAC 7000 Save changes to DAC 7000 Machine Control will be saved and it is ready for a test run. The text will be red if you have unsaved changes and goes to black after settings are saved.

12 DAC 7000 Basic Tuning + Slider Tune Channel selection Channel 1 tune is responsible for grade control. For single grade applications you will need to calibrate pitch cylinders for pitch grading or the elevation cylinders if using the plow in parallel mode. For Dual Grade applications elevation cylinders will be calibrated on channel 1 and pitch cylinders on channel 2.

13 Calibrate the minimum up movement settings Position the plow blade so it can be moved up or down Move the + slider until the desired cylinders extend a minimal amount When you find minimum movement press the number button and it will transfer the setting into the tune box. Press set tune to lock in the tune setting. The least possible movement will help the DAC 7000 produce the most accurate results Press here when minimum movement is found Press here to set tune

14 - Slider Calibrate the minimum down movement settings Position the plow blade so it can be moved up or down Move the - slider until the cylinders retract a minimal amount When you find minimum movement press the number button and it will transfer the setting into the tune box. Press set tune to lock in the tune setting. The least possible movement will help the DAC 7000 produce the most accurate results

15 Press here when minimum movement is found Press here to set tune After all changes have been made, click Save changes to DAC7000, then exit out of the window. For Dual Grade Control using the DAC 2X, you must also configure Channel 2, and repeat the steps on the previous pages for configuring Channel 1. Channel 2 calibration will always be applied to the pitch cylinders.

16 DAC 7000 Machine Label To add a label in the list specific to your machine Expand/maximize the DAC Configuration window Select Config Admin

17 Select Retrieve Current DAC7000 Config Insert a Config Name (label) Select the Config for Main List. It will appear in the vehicle list. Select Save Config to File

18 DAC 2X Level the Sensor Take a level and check to make sure the plow is level. In the devices menu, select Fore-Slope Zero Sensor and click OK, and then repeat by selecting Side- Slope Zero Sensor and OK This will zero out the DAC 2X when it s level You will also need to change the Fore-Slope adder to (. 2 ). Failing to change the adder may result in the plow lifting the rear of the tractor off the ground when given a down command. -.2

19 DAC 2X Enable Rod Tip Corrections Select Menu, Instrument Menu, Rod Tip Corrections, and Cross and Forward Slope Only In the Rod Tip Corrections menu, the Current Corrections shown should be Cross and Forward Slope Only After enablement the Rod Tip Corrections menu will appear when starting any job in AGPS. Confirm that the machine is set for Cross and Forward Slope Only and click the OK button.

20 When using the system with automated tractor hydraulics make sure to engage both sets of cylinders into the automatic mode. For JD tractors the I and III windows on the side panel should display AC before starting to plow. For CIH click your switch for both 1 and 3 into AUTO For external valves check the minimum speed for blade control from the device menu

21 If set to zero you must manually turn off the machine control from the working screen in AGPS. Failure to use the machine control button while making connections could result in injury or death to your hole guy After the connection is made and the hole guy is clear turn on the Machine Control and pull ahead to lay pipe If you would rather not have to manually turn off and on the machine control you can enter a small value as the Minimum Vehicle Speed for Blade Control. The default is 5. as in 5 feet per minute.
