3 because there are a lot of shows that I was going to miss. After I read this guide though, I was pretty much able to track down some form of streaming for all the shows that I want to watch. They definitely got their facts right when it comes to the prices of cable companies and the fact that you can survive without it. Well written and easy to follow. A little dry but gave me the info I needed. I actually cancelled my cable about 3 weeks ago and I'm doing fine without it. I have a Kindle, a smart phone and a smart TV. Yidio,Huluplus, prime and netflixd. I do not miss cable I chose this book because the title grabbed me. It lays all of the streaming information out so it is easily understood.it also compares all of the different streaming devices.i recommend this book to anyone who is considering streaming over cable TV shouldn't be expensive in this day and age. Cable TV is ridiculously overpriced and even the so-called 'cheap' plans cost at least $240 a year. This book shows you the alternatives to cable and how you can save money by forgoing cable and going for streaming services that are (mostly) at least 50% cheaper than the cheapest cable subscription. I felt the book gave a great overview of each streaming service and what to expect from it. Most of these services have a free trial so you can try it out yourself too. And while I'm not a sports fan, the book also goes into various options for watching sports without cable. Overall an informative book that will save you more than it costs Short, and to the point. Websites that tell you what channels in your area are free & signal strength. A breakdown on antennas & set top boxes. Thank you on two levels! One the info was priceless! Two I accidentaly ordered two and tried to stop the second order and the seller refunded me without any problems. I will order from this seller again! My husband and I have been thinking about getting rid of cable for a while, but we've been hesitating. This book does a great job of helping us to consider all the things we need to think about before we take the plunge. Very small book, at 32 pages. I covers very basic items, at a very high level. Gives some good pointers, on where to start, what you can do, where to get mor information. There's A LOT of items, and information missing though. Book is very limited, in what it provides. If you're looking for detail

4 on, What is "streaming" vs other options (they cover streaming and streaming devices but, they don't define "What is streaming" first.), How do I get my news channels?, what do I pay for and what is free, how does this all work? That detail is not in this book.
