2 party info We know that organising a birthday party at home can be stressful and end up being very expensive, not to mention messy! To make it easier for you, Dreamland has created an exclusive birthday party package within The Octopus s Garden, our Ozzy Crew can look after everything for you so that you can relax and enjoy the fun! price(based on a minimum of 10 children) 9.50 per child (includes entrance and food) time slots Each party is 2.5 hours. Please ask for current opening hours. Maximum children per party is 20. Anything over this will require private hire. Private parties are available after hours between 6.00 and 8.30pm and start from (maximum occupancy is 40 children + 1 parent per child) Party locations in the octopus s garden Showman's Wagon 8-10 capacity Showman's Caravan 8-10 capacity Beach Hut 6-8 capacity price includes A choice from our two Ozzy Party Food Packages. The quote will include 20% VAT We require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of your total booking to secure your party. The remaining balance and final numbers are due no later than 1 week prior to your party taking place. Please note that we are happy to add additional guests within 1 week of your party date but we are unable to offer refunds should someone drop out.

4 faqs There is a wide selection of cold and hot food available for adults from the Octopus s Garden Cafe breakfast, lunch and dinner all covered! Are there car parking facilities nearby? There is a public car park outside The Octopus s Garden entrance. However this car park is owned by Thanet District Council so there is a charge. Can we bring our own party food and birthday cake? Only food purchased at the Octopus s Garden is permitted to be consumed on the premises. However, you are welcome to bring your own birthday cake to sing Happy Birthday and cut up slices to include in your party bags. Is entrance to the rides included in the price? No, the Octopus s Garden is situated before the pay barrier to the have access to the rides. If you would like to include this as part of your visit you can purchase tickets from the welcome hub or through your party organiser prior to arrival. 5 terms and conditions Any person(s) found to be outside of the following terms and conditions may be refused entry or be removed from the premises by the FEC team, security or the police without the right to a refund and may be refused entry upon future attempts to visit the FEC. Whilst at the FEC all visitors must comply with any reasonable instructions given by FEC staff, health and safety notices, policies and announcements and/or any third party instructed on behalf of the FEC. All children entering the FEC must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible person aged 18 or over at all times. The FEC does not cater for the provision nor accept responsibility for the supervision of children. Age and height restrictions may apply to areas of the FEC and must be adhered to. Children over the height restrictions may only play at the discretion of the FEC staff. All parties must have a 5:1 children: adult ratio, therefore a minimum party of 10 children requires a minimum of 2 adults to attend throughout. For health and hygiene reasons accompanying adults must ensure that children wash their hands before entering the play area after using the toilet. Nappy changing and the use of potties is restricted to the baby changing room and visitors are requested to dispose of nappies in the designated bins. For their own safety and the wellbeing of other children, children who are unwell should not enter the play area. Children should remove any badges, jewellery or objects that may cause harm to themselves or others, such as clothes with ropes and cords, before entering designated play areas. Only spectacles with shatterproof lenses are permitted in the soft play areas and must be worn with a retainer Shoes must be removed before entering the play area In the interest of hygiene, socks must be worn at all times in the soft play areas Parents/supervising adults are advised that their child should wear long sleeves and trousers to reduce the likelihood of friction burns. The FEC will not be held liable for any injury caused from playing on the play equipment. Children should be discouraged from playing in front of slide exits, climbing on nettled walls or throwing balls or other object at each other. Only food purchased at the FEC is permitted to be consumed on the premises. The only exception to this is Birthday cakes brought for your party. Food, drink and chewing gum is prohibited from the play area

6 terms and conditions When consuming food and drink in the FEC visitors should make every effort to clear away their food/drink debris and, if necessary, report and spillages to a member of FEC staff to maintain health and hygiene standards. Fighting, bullying or any kind of abusive behaviour towards others, including FEC staff, by person(s) will not be tolerated and the offender may be asked to leave the FEC without the right to a refund Parents/supervising adults are requested to report any behavioural concerns to a member of the FEC staff and not to attempt to intervene themselves. As part of the FEC's ongoing commitment to health and safety, all accidents should be reported to a member of the FEC team and will be logged and assistance given if necessary. Any damage to FEC property, whether intentional or unintentional should be reported to a member of the FEC team. The FEC cannot be held responsible for damage, injury or loss other than a death arising from the FEC's negligence. A 50% non-refundable deposit must be paid to secure your party. The remaining balance, final numbers and all pre-orders are required no later than 1 week prior to your event taking place. Please note that guests can be added within 1 week of your party date but the venue is unable to offer refunds should guests drop out within this time. All parties booked are for a minimum of 10 children. Upon entering the FEC visitors give consent to be photographed or recorded and for any photographs, films or recordings to be used by the FEC in any future promotional activities. By paying a deposit for your booking you are automatically agreeing to the above terms and conditions without signing and returning.
