Remove the te wrap from the recever door handle. Open the door and remove the packagng foam from the front of the CPU Card.. Gently push the CPU and lne cards nto ther slots untl they connect securely. 4. Ensure that the power swtch s n the OFF poston. 5. Plug the AC power cord nto the rear of the. 6. Plug the other end nto an unswtched 00 to 0 VAC (or 0 to 0 VAC), 50 to 60 Hz lne. 7. Plug the telephone lnes nto the connectors on the frst lne termnator card (Fgure, page ). 8. Connect the automaton computer (Item n Fgure, page 4) to COM, the center DB-9 connector on the CPU termnator card, usng a null-modem cable (Item ). 9. Connect an external parallel prnter, wth the power off, (Item 4) to the lower 5-pn connector on the CPU termnator card (Item 5). 0. urn the power swtch on the to the ON poston.. Plug telephone lnes nto the connectors on the back of the (Fgure, page ).. Connect the automaton computer (Item n Fgure, page 4) to COM, the DB-9 connector usng a null-modem cable (Item ). 4. Connect an external parallel prnter (Item 4), wth the power off, to the 5-pn connector (Item 6). 5. Connect the optonal D6686/D668/D6680 (Item 5 n Fgure ) to COM4 (Item ), the top DB-9 connector on the CPU termnator card.. Use the provded modem cable (Item ) to connect to Channel on the network adapter.. Usng a CA5 Ethernet cable (Item 8), connect the other end of the network adapter (Item 5) to the network hub (Item 9). 4. If nstallng a D667 COM Expanson kt (Item ) n the recever (Item ), connect a second optonal D6686/D668/D6680 (Item 6) to COM of the D667 (Item ). Order and nstall the D667 separately. Refer to the D667 Installaton Gude (P/N: ) for detals. COM s the DB-9 connector to the left of the CPU termnator card lookng at the rear of the unt. Use the provded modem cable (Item 4) to connect to Channel on the network adapter (Item 6). 5. Usng a CA5 Ethernet cable (Item 7); connect the other end of the second network adapter (Item 6) to the network hub (Item 9). 6. Connect a PC (Item ) wth an Ethernet card to the network usng a CA5 Ethernet cable (Item 0). hs PC connects to the network for D600 software applcatons and for confgurng the network adapters. 7. 8 Conettx / 4.0 D600 Installaton Overvew he D600 software nstalls new drvers for the D60 Securty Key (Dongle). Remove all securty keys (dongles) before nstallaton.
