To solve these problems, we aalyzed the Forward Error Cotrol (FEC) sesig techology based o Cyclic Redudacy Check (CRC) ad adaptive Multiple Iput Multiple Output (MIMO) approach, buildig upo which we proposed the reliable trasmissio cotrol scheme, i order to guaratee the Quality of Services. The mathematical aalyses ad NS simulatio results show that the proposed trasmissio cotrol scheme maitai the better performace such as throughput, reliability, real time performace ad eergy efficiecy, tha the FEC aloe ad MIMO aloe approaches. INTRODUCTION Perceptio of the physical world ad process of chage, a lot of objects should be detected [], [], icludig temperature, pressure, humidity, strai, so the miiaturizatio ad low-power sesors for applicatios is importat ad sigificat. There are some challegig issues of desig, commuicatio ad trasmissio over sesors i Mobile Iteret of Thigs (MIOT). Wireless commuicatio eviromet of MIOT is dyamic ad harsh, which have various iterfereces. Trasmissio ad commuicatio over this chael is susceptible to such distortios as fiite badwidth, resources, mobility, applicatio service diversity, etc [3], [4]. These restrictios, combied with the characteristics of sesor etworks [5] such as limited computatio ability, storage ad self-orgaizatio, make it difficult to guaratee Quality of Services (QoS) over MIOT. The rest of the paper is orgaized as follows. The related work is elaborated i Sectio II. Sectio III describes the FEC sesig scheme at data lik layer based o CRC at physical layer. I Sectio IV we desig the adaptive MIMO approach at physical layer of sesors o the basis of the FEC sesig i MIOT. The proposed reliable trasmissio cotrol scheme is used to guaratee the reliable, efficiet ad effective wireless commuicatio, which is show i Sectio V. Simulatio ad mathematics results are give i Sectio VI. Fially, we coclude the paper i Sectio VII. II. RELATED WORK May studies have bee made about reliable trasmissio i MIOT, but there are still some deficiecies to be addressed. O the oe had, S. Tozlu et al applied Wi-Fi ito IP coectivity o basis of low power feasibility o battery powered devices, ad aalyzed the iterferece ad rage performace based o three differet services [5]. Dahai Ha et al researched the cocept of iformatio aggregatio layer based o the bottleeck betwee mass sesors ad electric power commuicatio trasmissio etwork [6]. The they used the sesor iformatio processig ad data fusio at aggregatio layer, which had bee take o the embedded smart gateway, as well as provided frot-ed processig ad aalysis of sesor iformatio to implemet i varied itelliget power grids sceario. Z. F. Sog et al [7] proposed the reliable trasmissio scheme for security ad protectio system for IOT ad desiged the cooperative trasmissio scheme for ehacig the quality of data services. I our previous research results [8] ad [9], based o a Markov chai model for FEC ad derivig the expressios for QoS, a adaptive cooperative forward error correctio based o eergy efficiecy was proposed, as well as the reliable adaptive relay selectio approach ad adaptive QoS supported algorithm. O the other had, based o DRX (Discotiuous Receptio)/DTX (Discotiuous Trasmissio) optimizatio ad QoS guaratee techology IoT applicatios, the authors [0] optimized DRX/DTX parameters ad scheduled devices' packets with the base statio by balacig the impacts betwee QoS parameters ad DRX/DTX cofiguratios. The article [] reviewed curret stadards ad research activities i both idustry ad academia of the research commuity to cotribute to the IoT field, authors of which cosidered the calculatio of mathematical fuctios at the time of wireless superimpositio of data sequeces. S. Sigg et al [] proposed the commuicatio scheme i view of mathematical computatios of wireless trasmissio, which is able to execute the complex computatios at cooperatig sesor with low computatioal complexity. Based o cross-layer module for IoT, Chog Ha et al [3] accurately captured both the high heterogeeity of the IoT ad impact of the Iteret. Especially, they developed the fudametal part of the module to study the optimal routig paths ad the commuicatio parameters amog differet layer fuctioalities. The implemetatio of two-way relay etwork o the basis of physical-layer etwork codig priciple was proposed by Lu Lua et al [4] which was simple to implemet ad amplify the oise alog with the sigal before forwardig the sigal. However, there is ot further i-depth study of the error cotrol mechaism i IOT. I additio, R. Morelos-Zaragoza et al [5] examied the error performace of the tag-to-reader lik of a passive UHF (Ultra High Frequecy) RFID (Radio Frequecy Idetificatio) system ad proposed the correctio techique of sigle errors i the received EPC with a look-up table. A simplified air iterface protocol ad a simultaeous access chael for uplik commuicatio was proposed by C. S. Botu et al [6], which ca be cosidered either as a ehacemet or a overlay to the existig cellular systems. E. Ustuel et al [7] studied the CRC codig performace o basis of a cross layer performace criterio, which cosidered the CRC geerator polyomial, message legth, ad Sigalto-Noise Ratio (SNR). A adaptive Successive Cacellatio-List decoder with CRC was proposed i article [8], which is able to icrease the list ad reduce sigificat complexity. The above fidigs have ot doe extesive research o the combied error cotrol ad sesig techology. Specially, the specialized delivery scheme i the cotext of IOT, was proposed by H. Sharma et al [9] based o usage of byte-level error-correctio codes, which is used to improve relevat delivery parameters. I article [0], the author cosidered error correctio codes with simple block code, which is used to improve the trasmissio performace of molecular commuicatios. I the study of article [], a error-correctio algorithm was preseted, which aims at emulatig the otio of error correctio algorithm. The, authors also illustrated some probabilistic measures to make the algorithm more efficiet without sacrificig its effectiveess. Authors of article [] demostrated the massive MIMO cocept ad cotemporary research, icludig the challege of makig may low-cost low-precisio compoets, acquisitio ad sychroizatio for ewly-joied termials ad so o. Based o the equivalet circuit models, article [4] ivestigated the capacity of ear field magetically coupled commuicatio systems, which is coupled sigle-iput-sigle-output (SISO) ad multipleiput-sigle-output (MISO). A comprehesive review of the curret ad rapidly emergig ecosystem of IOT was studied by Melaie Swa [4]. Chie-Liag Fok et al [5] provided a mechaism of a geeral QoS fuctio, which distilled the multi-dimesioal QoS specificatios. However, the i-depth study of performace effect of ecodig techology to the MIMO techology is igored i the above research results. FEC SENSING SCHEME BASED ON CRC I this sectio, we desig the commuicatio model of sesors with CRC codig i IOT, which is show as Fig. Here, sigal resource is the Beroulli biary geerator, output of which is the biary data based o frame format. CRC coder ad decoder select the CRC-6 scheme. The chael is set to Additive White Gaussia Noise (AWGN) chael. The bit error rate is added up by the Error Rate Calculatio module. SNR is set from 0dB to 0dB. The bit error rate ad frame error rate are give by Fig. 4 ad 5. We could foud that the performace of FEC sesig scheme based o CRC is better tha oe of without usig the proposed scheme i terms of bit error rate ad frame error rate. We get the followig coclusios: ) FEC (5, 5) ca guaratee error-free trasmissio whe SNR is larger tha 4 db. ) FEC (5, 3) may guaratee error-free trasmissio oly whe SNR is larger tha 8 db. 3) Particularly, ay FEC sesig scheme could guaratee error-free trasmissio whe SNR is larger tha 8 db. Frame error rate So we should select the FEC sesig scheme with high codig efficiecy, which is illustrated by Fig. 6. I a word, there are the optimal SNR threshold for differet FEC sesig scheme, which could guaratee error-free trasmissio whe SNR is larger tha the threshold ad give by Table I ad II. The higher the codig efficiecy is, the less the umber of data frames is, which idicate that the loger the legth of the valid data of each frame, the less the eergy cosumed. Similarly, FEC (5, 5), FEC (5, 7) ad FEC (5, 9) scheme could make the bit error rate zero whe SNR is equal to 5 db illustrated from Fig. 6. From the aspect of reducig eergy cosumptio, the loger valid iformatio for each frame, the less the total umber of frames, so i this case the use of FEC (5, 9) ca get the maximum etwork performace. ADAPTIVE MIMO BASED ON FEC I order to simultaeously achieve multiple trasmittig atea of sesors i IOT, we use MIMO techology for receivig diversity. Assumig that the receivig sigal at t time slot at the receivig atea is EbNo Fig. 8. Reliability evaluatio of three atea scheme with SNR The Fig. 8 illustrates the reliability aalysis with SNR deoted by EbN0. I a word, MIMO techology could improve reliability with expadig the diversity by icreasig the umber of receivig ad trasmittig ateas. Simultaeously, the bit error rate would be decreasig with the icrease of data packet legth, which is show i Fig. 9. RELIABLE TRANSMISSION CONTROL SCHEME I this sectio, we propose the reliable trasmissio cotrol scheme based o the FEC sesig scheme i sectio 3 ad adaptive MIMO techology i sectio 4, which is show as Fig.. I the actual work process of the proposed scheme i MIOT, there are some aspects eed to pay attetio. () After the desired sigal source QPSK modulatio oly whe the sigal source must be the radom matrix composed of four umbers 0,,, 3. () The sigal source would go through FEC ecoder oly whe which is the radom matrix composed by 0,,,3,4,5,6,7. Therefore, the sigal source must be geerated by the radom matrices withi the matrix elemets composed by [0, m-] at first. Secodly, the sigal could be ecoded by FEC sesig scheme. VI. PERFORMANCE EVALUATION I this work, we simulate, aalyze ad evaluate the performace of the proposed scheme deoted by, compared with traditioal trasmissio with the FEC aloe ad MIMO aloe through three group experimets. The experimetal data is the average value after 00 time simulatio or mathematical aalysis A. Experimetal Results with Chael State. Fig. shows two performace metrics as a fuctio of EbN0 i experimet. The result of bit error rate ad frame error rate idicate that the chael state of sesors i MIOT have importat implicatio o commuicatio ad trasmissio of wireless data. It is clear that there is sigificat improvemet of performace with, as compared with the FEC aloe ad MIMO aloe mechaisms. Eve if the chael quality is poor, the proposed strategy ca still maitai a high reliability. For example, the bit error rate ad frame error rate are close to zero whe SNR is equal to 5dB, which of the FEC aloe ad MIMO aloe are close to 0-3 ad 0.05 respectively. 04 Egieerig ad Techology Publishig 958

Fig. 3 shows the bit error rate as a fuctio of four differet schemes such as SISO, MIMO (, ), MIMO (, ) ad with redudacy rate i experimet. We foud that the bit error rate of four schemes is i the fall as the icrease of redudacy rate. The has the maximum amplitude ad ca sigificatly improve the reliability with low redudacy rate, idicatig that the proposed strategy is the most effective i four kids of policies. For example, the bit error rate of is close to zero whe redudacy rate is larger tha 4. However, the bit error rate of MIMO (, ) is close to zero oly whe redudacy rate is larger tha 8, oe of the other schemes have to be larger tha 4. C. Experimetal Results with QoS Supported Capacity. Fig. 4 shows the four performace metrics as a fuctio of the FEC aloe, MIMO aloe ad schemes i experimet 3. Fig. 4 (a) ad (b) illustrate the eergy efficiecy ad packet error rate usig NS- simulatio. The simulatio time is 0 secods. The experimetal data is the average value after 00 time simulatio. The proposed is ot oly able to achieve higher eergy efficiecy, but also improve the reliability of trasmissio i MIOT. The ehacemet of FEC sesig techology ad adaptive MIMO cotrol scheme ca sigificatly decrease the eergy cosumptio for sesors i MIOT. Comparig with the traditioal the FEC aloe ad MIMO aloe schemes, is able to achieve obvious ehacemet i eergy utilizatio ad reliability. The improvemet of throughput is beefited from the adaptive CRC ad FEC sesig of sesors i MIOT, which are able to make full use of system resources. VII. CONCLUSIONS AND FUTURE WORK Purpose of our work is to resolve the bottleecks of sesors i MIOT; we propose the reliable trasmissio cotrol scheme based o FEC sesig ad adaptive MIMO techology deoted by. The mai cotributios i our work are as follows. First, cosiderig the characteristics of CRC ad FEC schemes, we itroduce the FEC sesig scheme based o CRC to study the characteristics of reliability with chael state. Secod, the adaptive MIMO techology with FEC sesig is desiged to esure the ratioal ad effective use of atea ad spectrum. Fially, we preset the reliable trasmissio cotrol scheme based o cross layer desig, workig together with the above two mechaisms, to improve resource utilizatio ad reliability, as well as to exted the MIOT system life. The mathematics ad simulatio results demostrate that, compared with the existig traditioal mechaisms, greatly guaratees the QoS of MIOT applicatio services ad obtais the obvious system gais i terms of reliability, real time performace, ad throughput, as well eergy efficiecy. As a result, it is determied that the proposed scheme is effective, efficiet ad robust for trasmissio cotrol ad QoS guaratee i MIOT. I our future work, we will research ad study oe approach used to switch the SISO ad MIMO. Simultaeously, we would activate the atea by trigger sigal accordig to settigs of our proposed scheme to switch them.
