8 Belden Bonded-Pair Data Cables Set The Standard For Outstanding Performance Belden Bonded-Pair Bonded-Pairs can be manipulated without causing performance-robbing gaps between the conductors. The patented Bonded-Pair design, featured in Belden DataTwist data cables, yields a unique performance advantage over standard UTP cable. Belden s innovative manufacturing process affixes the individual insulated conductors along their longitudinal axis, resulting in uniform conductor-to-conductor spacing and the complete elimination of gaps between the conductors. These are critical cable construction features because non-uniform conductor spacing and gaps change the physical characteristics of the cable such that the electrical performance of the cable suffers. To begin, we qualified a 100-meter length of DataTwist 350, along with a competitive cable, just off the reel. Then we pulled the cables through several twists and bends to simulate an installation and qualified the cables performance again. We then conducted further tests after finishing the installation by coiling the cables into an outlet box, and again after creating a service loop. 10 Belden Coaxial Cables With Duobond Plus Offer Superior Shielding Performance Over Quad Shield Belden coaxial cables with Duobond Plus have a three-shield construction consisting of a Duofoil II (foil tape) surrounded by an 80 percent braid and an outer layer of foil with a unique shorting fold that creates the effect of a solid metal conduit.
