Xicato XSM Module Reflector Cold Phosphor An array of Blue Lumileds Luxeon Rebel chips produce an intense reliable light source. This blue light is converted to white via the unique tuning Corrective Cold Phosphor layer. Optics High efficiency reflectors combine with the Xicato module to produce unprecedented output and consistency. Corrective Cold Phosphor Technology Blue LEDs Phosphor Layer At the centre of the optic are the blue LEDs, the wavelength of which are individually measured, to the varying performance of all modern LED chips vary. A tailored phosphor coated film is then selected for each module to correct it to the required colour temperature and colour rendering. This guarantees the colour consistency to within 2SDCMs over the life of the module. The phosphor coating is remote from the LED chips and runs at up to 60 C less than a standard white chip.
