This will turn n the Vide/Data Prjectr and all ther media equipment except the cmputer. T turn OFF the equipment press the OFF buttn n the Cntrl Panel. (If yu are using the cmputer, it will need t be turned ON/OFF manually.) Press the SOURCE buttn n the Cntrl Panel t select Vide/Data Prjectr input: Each time yu press the SOURCE buttn the input will change between,, and Dcument Camera. Once the crrect equipment has been selected by the SOURCE buttn, press the input buttn (, DVD r VCR, etc.) t activate functin cntrls (vlume, play, pause, change channels). Fr the cmputer image/audi press the COMPUTER buttn n the Cntrl Panel. T adjust Vlume: Press the VOLUME up/dwn buttns n the cntrl panel. T adjust the VOLUME use the Vide/Data Prjectr remte. **T test the audi and vide n yu can channel UP/DOWN thrugh channels 18 t 33. These channels bradcast CNN, ther lcal statins and vides played frm the Media Department during nrmal hurs f peratin. Turn ON/OFF the. NOTE: Nt all classrms have a cmb, sme may have just a VCR. If that is the case and yu need t play a DVD, yu can use the instructr cmputer. Playing a VHS Tape: Playing a DVD: Insert the VHS tape. Then yu can Play/Pause, rewind, stp and fast frward using the buttns listed n the lwer right side f the r use the remte. When finished playing the VHS tape yu can press the Eject VHS buttn n the unit and the tape will be ejected. Press the Open/Clse buttn n the frnt f the unit and place the DVD n the tray. Press the Open/Clse buttn again t clse the DVD tray. Then yu can Play/Pause, rewind, stp and fast frward using the buttns listed n the lwer right side f the r use the remte. When finished playing the DVD yu can press the Open/Clse buttn n the unit and the DVD tray will pen and yu can remve the DVD. T use the mic(s): Discnnect the mic(s) frm the pwer cable and turn n. T adjust the vlume n the mic(s) yu will need t use the Teardrp mic and press the up r dwn vlume cntrl buttns. By default the Teardrp mic Surce is n Own, t adjust the Handheld mic vlume yu will need t SELECT Other as the surce. Cnnect end f the VGA cable t the VGA prt n yur laptp. This cnnectin is generally blue r black in clr. Make sure yu align pins as yu cnnect them. The VGA prt is usually fund n the back r side f the laptp. NOTE: Bth ends f the VGA cable must be cnnected prir t pwering n bth devices. If yur presentatin has audi cnnect the mini audi cable int the headphne jack n the laptp. This cable is can als be fund in the cubby in the desktp. **If using a Mac laptp r ther device that des nt have a VGA cnnectin the presenter will need t prvide the Mac adapter t cnnect t the classrm VGA cable. Turn the Switch Bx frm Desktp PC t Laptp PC. Pwer ON the laptp and using the Cntrl Panel pwer ON the multimedia equipment. Fr the laptp image/audi press the COMPUTER buttn n the Cntrl Panel. NOTE: If n image displays n wall screen, use Fn + LCD n yur laptp.
