Opera House Rental Technical Requirements (Updated March-24-14) To enable us to provide you with the highest quality service, please COMPLETE THIS FORM and return it NO LATER THAN EIGHT (8) WEEKS PRIOR to the rental date. This will enable us to prepare for the event by better understanding your needs. If there is a technical or production rider for the event please attach a copy and return it to us. One (1) Opera House technical staff will be required at all times that renters are in the facility. There is a minimum Three (3) hour call for all technical staff. Theatre Staging: Are you bringing any theatrical set etc.? NO screwing or nailing to the stage floor. Are there any decking Risers etc. Are any chairs required on stage? How many? Standard Theatre Lighting Rig. The Opera House has a standard lighting rig designed to cover most events. Any adjustments can be made subject to discussion with the Technical Department. Charges will apply if there are large adjustments made to the standard lighting rig. Pre-Rig Lighting. If there are changes to the standard lighting rig that you need made before your Load-In, this will be a pre-rig. Charges will apply; these charges will also include the cost of returning the lighting equipment back to the Opera House standard rig for the next company use. Lighting Plan. This would be used to program lighting to your requirements. If you are unable to supply a lighting plan to us, please speak with the Technical Department for further assistance. Sound Rig. The Opera House has a standard sound rig to cover most events, including four (4) on-stage monitors. Any adjustments can be made subject to discussion with the Technical Department. Charges will apply if there are large adjustments made to the standard sound rig. Pre-Rig Sound. As with lighting, if there are changes to the standard sound rig that you need made before your Load-In, this will be a pre-rig. Charges will apply; these charges will also include the cost of returning the sound equipment back to the Opera House standard rig for the next company use. Lighting / Sound Board Operator.The person responsible for operating your lighting or sound requirements.
