Indie-Lethbridge 2018 Local Authors! Call for Submissions! Lethbridge Public Library is currently seeking submissions of adult titles to be included as part of our new collection of small press and independently-published works by local authors. If you are interested in having your work showcased in this collection pilot please contact our collection development committee at: indie@lethlib.ca 2018 Submission guidelines: physical format created for an adult audience titles published within the past two years works created by authors from the Chinook Arch service area and/or works with relevance to Lethbridge and area book is donated to library by author (one copy maximum) If you wish your work to be considered for the Indie Lethbridge 2018 collection, email the submission form to indie@lethlib.ca, mail the form to Indie Lethbridge 2018, Lethbridge Public Library, 810-5 th Avenue South, Lethbridge AB, T1J 4C4, or drop the form off at the Information Services Desk at the Main Branch, attention: Indie Lethbridge 2018. Intake for the 2018 collection will occur from January 1, 2018 to March 31, 2018 with a maximum of 50 titles selected for addition to the collection.

Your book must be bound in a format that is suitable for circulation. We will not accept coil, spiral stapled or 3-ring binding. Please check that the book is appropriately bound for library use and circulation.

Step 2: Submitting your Book Once a work has been selected for inclusion in the Indie-Lethbridge Collection authors are required to donate a copy of their book for circulation as part of the collection (one copy maximum). Please note: all gifts become the property of LPL and material will not be returned. LPL reserves the right to decide the disposition of all gifts we receive. We will review all donated material according to the same selection criteria we apply to purchased materials. The Friends of the Lethbridge Public Library may sell material that is not needed for the Collection for the benefit of the Library. To find out if the Library has included your donated book, please check the library catalogue. Delivery You may deliver the book in person, or mail your book to Indie Lethbridge c/o Adult Services, 810-5 th Avenue south, Lethbridge, T1J 4C4 You may drop the book off at the information desk at the Main Lethbridge Library, 810-5 th Avenue south, Lethbridge, T1J 4C4
