Central Display Screen Functions Can switch between sources: DVD, NAV, DTV, PAC, IPOD and Headrest Monitors When the car is in reverse mode, PAC image will be shown on the screen. Green, yellow and red lines shown on the screen will be used as a safety measure for parking(please look at SETTING) From the settings menu the following can be selected: NTSC, PAL, Brightness, Color, Contrast, and Tint. Central Display Basic Operations Main Menu Operation Turning on the power Pressing power key on the remote control or anywhere on the screen for three seconds will turn on the power P WR NAVI The Subaru logo will appear for five seconds before the main menu appears on the screen. Main Menu Press upper left hand corner for three seconds to enter menu. Navigation Reverse Camera DTV Turning off the power Press the power key on the remote control three seconds or press the power key [ ] on the screen to turn off the power. DVD IPOD P WR NAVI Setup To leave menu and return to last image Enter key Power key
Mode Display When [Main] is highlighted in yellow, the user can select any menu item for the front monitor and press ok. DTV Menu Function Menus Press DTV and then the ok. Press the spot on the bottom right corner for three seconds, and the control buttons will appear on the screen. Figure 1 When [Sub-Left] is highlighted in yellow, the user can select any menu item for the left headrest monitor and press ok. Navi is not available for headrest monitors. DVD Menu Please press DVD key from main menu and press ok. Press the lower right corner for three seconds for the DVD control menu to appear on the screen. IPOD Menu Press IPOD key from main menu and press ok. Settings Press setup key and press ok. The items highlighted in blue are the selected settings. System Screen Touch Screen POWER Ok / Confirm Power Camera Switch Camera Mode Reverse Image Line Remote Language Under auto power on, the monitor will automatically turn on when the ACC is on. If auto power is off, turning on the power manually is needed SCREEN Settings: Press screen key and ok key to adjust the settings for the screen. [ -Escape Items one through four can be adjusted from 0~32. Item five can be adjusted only from 0~4. CAMERA SWITCH CAMERA RULE Under auto camera switch, the reverse camera, image will appear on the screen when the car is in reverse mode. Manual camera switch can be used when manual camera switch is turned on. Two types of images can be selected for the camera image under camera mode: mirror or normal image. CAMERA MODE ] Reverse lines will appear on the screen when camera rule is on. Reverse lines will disappear when camera rule is off. Press touch key and ok key to enter touch screen calibration. Press the part of the screen with the white cross. Do not use anything sharp that will damage the touch screen. 1 2 3 REMOTE Remote control function can be selected for the front monitor [Main], left headrest monitor [Sub-Left] and right headrest monitor [Sub-Right]. 4 5 LANGUAGE Three types of languages can be selected for the interface: simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese and English. After calibration is complete, press anywhere on the screen for three seconds to return to the screen before. Press the upper left corner for three seconds to return to the main menu.
