CNC controls from POWER AUTOMATION THE HIGH-enD CNC PA 8000e2 The PA 8000e2 is our High-End CNC system for complex applications. Where other CNCs reach their limits, the PA 8000e2 is just kicking off! If high performance and maximum openness is requested the PA 8000e2 system is exactly the right solution for your machine. The PA 8000e2 is excellently suited for 3D applications like 5 axis milling or 5axis laser cutting as well as for transfer machines. THE ALLrounD CNC PA 8000 LW The PA 8000 LW model is an all-round CNC system, suitable for almost any kind of machine tool applications. The extremely profitable and flexible PA 8000 LW is primarily used for standard applications such as waterjet cutting, plasma cutting, laser cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, 2D milling, 2D turning or eroding. STRONg ARgUMENTS for pc-based CNCs from POWER AUTOMATION Open HMI The open PA HMI control interface allows to be changed very easily and adapt to the requirements of the operators of your machines. Whether you would like to generate whole menus or only change individual buttons, with the PA HMI there are no limits to your creativity. In addition you can change the design as desired and according to your Corporate Design, so that the machine and the CNC control deliver a harmonious overall appearance. Highest ACCURACy of the CONTOUR PA s CNCs calculate complex paths dynamically in advance and adapt the axisspeed in time. The axes are regulated by highly sophisticated algorithms to obtain an optimal movement and acceleration guidance. Using different filters, like e.g. the PA Path Filters the axes are accelerated in a way that no machine-specific oscillations are triggered. Therefore high accuracies and a perfect surface quality can be achieved. FASTEST Block Throughput The PA CNC systems are equipped with high speed processors to accomplish an extremely fast Block Throughput. Even highly accurate contours with very small NC blocks can be processed without any loss of speed. Therefore the machine always reaches the highest productivity. Networked CNCs All CNC systems include a fast Ethernet interface of the latest generation. Thus the CNCs can be integrated without any problems into networks and be connected in such a way with PCs, servers and Cad/Cam Work stations. The fast data communication guarantees minimum transmission times even by very large NC-programs. Open NC Kernel All Power Automation CNC systems have an open NC Kernel. This makes possible to realize you your own technology-specific requirements. You can reach this by the use of the so-called PA Compile Cycles, which you can program in C or C++. You can not only create own CNC functions such as your own transformations or compensations, but also protect your own know-how. For the creation of the Compile Cycles you do not need an OEM contract and no special development environment as with other CNC manufacturers. Just one week of training for the CNC system and a small fee for the appropriate run time license and you are ready to go. This way we offer to everyone to profit from this technology. PA SDI-Drive Technology Through the digital regulation with PA-SDI (PA Serial digital interface) high-dynamic axis feed rates can be realized. Open Interfaces Some CNC models can be extended with additional PCI cards and offer the possibility to add Fieldbus interfaces like Profibus, DeviceNet and many others.

Short cycle times due TO SUPERFAST SPS The integrated Soft-PLC (IEC 61131-3 Standard) guarantees short cycle times. Auxiliary activities such as Pallet Changes or Tool Changes are executed in shortest time. This results in a more productive machine operation. Spare PART WARRANTy Due to the special architecture of the PA CNC controls and all other PA components, the number of potential spare parts is up to 60% less than with other manufacturers; like the saying: what is not needed also cannot go broken. This way your inventory is reduced to a minimum. Our service centers in Europe, the USA and Asia are networked and can react within the shortest time. As we are using only high end components for our systems which must pass a high quality control you will have to take this service very rarely. The uptime of the machines is highest priority for us. Less TRAININg due TO easy OPERATION CNC controls from PA are easy to operate. Each PA CNC System is equipped with the PA HMI (Human Machine Interface). With this open, browser based PA HMI all important control functions are clearly represented to the operator, so it will work within shortest training time efficiently and safely with the CNC system.
